I had to learn to control my anger. I suffered the consequences because of it, and I didn't want to suffer anymore. Now when I get angry I speak calmly but theres a helluva lot more weight behind what I'm saying.IP: Logged |

I have Mars inconjunct Pluto. Mars is the apex of one of my yods (I have 3 :-\). I can relate to Doux's & Hannaramaa's experiences. My easygoing exterior belies my inner rage. The only person who gets this about me is Manfriend. I remember watching "The Incredible Hulk" on tv when I was little & totally relating to David Banner. :-)------------------

Interesting. Actually I also have some anger management issues, as in I have to learn how to redirect or express my anger or uncomfortable feelings instead of just repressing them, and then I can also feel affected and stressed by potential conflicts. Also, when I'm too angry, I feel the need to walk away and cool down, and definitely not cornered.Also, since I have Mars in the 9th and Pluto in the 3rd, I feel that my "violence" issues are more in my mind than physical. For example, my mind can picture some horrible stuffs that actually makes me feel kind of sick and uncomfortable. Somehow, I developed this over sensitivity that if I picture tortuous things or if I see or perceive suffering from others, I feel quite affected and uncomfortable. IP: Logged |

An interesting thing... and synchronicity for me. XD Today I was at astrology classes, and the teacher talked about Mars oppose Pluto in the natal chart. She said that she also has that aspect natally, and she said that this aspect can show someone who avoids conflicts and the more the person shows desire of the things he/she can't have, or fights, the worse it gets and he/she would end up losing. She said that this aspect is about learningt o let go of control and actually learn to appreciate what we have, and what is there, rather tahn desiring what is not.Somehow, it's true that I don't really like conflicts, and the more I appreciate what I have the better it gets, as opposed to desiring what I can't or am not supposed to have. Mars pluto hard aspect is intense but more on the deeper, inner level I would say not toward others as much excluding the sexual matters where this aspect can turn and be the motor of some kinky domination games..In your case from 3th to 9th I would guess that you have some deep conflicts considering the place you are and places you want to go..like maybe all your life you wanted to escape, go, move somewhere else and that again gave you inner pain and torment..just guessing.
For me square between mars and saturn, especially when both in strong dignities and one ( mars) in 12th is the most violent and dangerous aspect..usually killers have it or those who physically attack others with no good, big reason..IP: Logged |

Lol at kinky domination games  there is probably some truth in it, thought Taurus Mars doesn't like any physical discomfort that the kinkiness is more about psychological teasing lol. As for inner torment, I guess that is true, but then I also have a packed 8th house, Saturn square AC conjunct IC from the 3rd, and Scorpio South Node. Thought I'm not sure about wanting to escape, I do sometimes, but probably it stems from the Saturn aspect plus 8th house stellium again? But being the 3rd house/9th house, it is related to the mind and beliefs struggle too. Also, 3rd house is house of siblings, and when I was a kid I used to be mean and get into fights with my brother.
By the way, the observation about 12th house is interesting, as I've thought that it would make the planets there more passive and "hidden", thought it also seem to make sense with it being a dangerous position for Mars. Maybe I'll dig some older posts about this.

My post was too personal and revealing, Randall.I wrote it when tMoon was conjuncting my Gemini ASC - spilled the beans... And then, a few days later, my private side came out and I edited it. I could still say some general information about what I've noticed about Mars/Pluto hard aspects, but in my mind it gets too personal and I don't think I'm comfortable with sharing that kind of information. Besides I feel like my own Mars/Pluto aspect isn't "typical" because it's so challenged by other things in my chart, and I kind of lose objectivity when describing aspects I have natally. Oh well.
If someone has a particular question about it... ask away. Maybe I can shed some light, although there is plenty of good information on the web already.
