My dominant planet is Jupiter, coming in second would be Mercury, then Pluto. (Got this from the extended chart selection on astro.com)

1st - Venus 2nd - Mercury & SunMercury and the Sun are very close, so it's not like that delineation is 100% accurate anyway, so who's to say which is more? It's not even defined as to what factors go into account for the results. Some may disagree with their techniques of delineation, while others may want to implement new ones, or take away certain factors. So who knows what we're dealing with here in Astro.com's calculation and factors. Should you also include the additional objects? Include some featured or all? And what about the ones that aren't featured? Or should you strictly do without all the additional objects? See? This delineation of Astro.com is quite debatable. -The reason why Venus is the strongest is because I have Venus in both it's own sign and house. It's conjunct the Sun, Chiron (exactly) and Ceres, squares the Moon and Lilith, trines Uranus, sextiles Pluto and a wide 9 degree trine with Neptune. It's also my final depositor. The Sun, Chiron, Ceres, Pallas and Vesta are in a venusian house as well. (2nd House) Vulcan is conjunct Venus exactly, in the 2nd House as well, if you want to include that. -Mercury because of my Sun and Moon in mercurian signs, and Mercury being in it's own house. My Ascendant's depositor is in a mercurian sign. Mercury sextiles my Asc, squares Uranus and Neptune, and a wide 10 degree trine with the Moon. It also forms a quincunx with Saturn, and trines the Dsc exactly. Mars, N. Node, Uranus and Neptune are in mercurian houses as well. (Mars and N. Node in the 3rd House, and Uranus and Neptune in 6th House) -The Sun because it is my chart ruler and highly aspected. The only planets it does not aspect with major aspects are Mercury, Mars and Jupiter. But it's already in a mercurian sign, so Mercury is already influencing it. It doesn't give major aspect to Mars or Jupiter, but it forms a semisquare with Mars and a quintile with Jupiter. The Sun also conjuncts Chiron and makes major aspects with Lilith and Juno. It also forms a wide semiquintile with the N. Node and tight biquintle with the S. Node. It even forms a sesquisquare with the MC, biquintile with the Dsc, semisqaure with the IC and semiquintile with the Asc "How ironic, his name is Mercurian Intellect, yet Venus is his dominant planet." I put that because my Sun/Moon combination is full mercurian, with their depositor in a domicile house. (3rd House) So that in turn, is making me significantly mercurian, as they are the luminaries. Venus is the most dominant. Jupiter could be second runner up. IP: Logged |

- Go to Astro.com's "Extended Chart Selection" - Under "Methods", click "Pullen/Astrolog" - In the drop-down box under "Methods", click "Simple chart delineation by Walter Pullen", and click show chart. After that, you will be sent to a information-heavy page. Scroll down about half-way until you see it saying - Planet: Position, Aspects, Total, Rank, Percent. If you have any more questions, just let me know IP: Logged |

First I would find out what your ruler is, if virgo sun then it's mercury for an example And your ascendant ruler too, if cancer then it's the moon like in my chart. And so these two planets is very strong, if they also make aspect to the sun, or other tight aspects to the personal planets, it's a very good indicator that these are the dominant planets. For an example, I have a cancer ascendant, and my moon is in pisces, which aspect both sun, mars and uranus, so that is two personal planets and 1 outer. But because moon is in pisces, you could also look to the ruler there, which is neptune, and my neptune is aspecting my other dominant planet mercury with a very tight square about 0 degrees. So therefor neptune is also really strong in my chart:P And so on!! Otherwise I recomment astro.com, chose extended chart and pullen/astrolog, then chose simple chart by walter pullen, scroll down until you see the dominant planets IP: Logged |

Yes, as next to neptune is saying, you can also do it yourself, as it will point you to a probable planet(s) for the dominance in your chart. IP: Logged |

The dominant planets are the planets which will be seen prominently in your personality. In your case, it's Sun and Mercury. So the characteristics of those planets will be evident within you. IP: Logged |

Mercurian Intellect: Great, so you're able to recognize it within you then --I do, not so sure about the Sun though. Isn't the sun all about ego/very self oriented? I'm not really a huge ego person. IP: Logged |

Yeah, but it's also about vitality, self-expression, creativity and purpose. It's your innate identity and how you present yourself. IP: Logged |

Venus then Pluto. I get the Venus part. The Pluto part, not so much. Well, I get my Scorpio Asc/Venus. But I don't get what Pluto is doing in Virgo in the 11th or Jupiter in Scorpio in the 1st. I really do need to learn more about those pieces of the puzzle.
