Topic: Has anyone ever won back their gemini ex?

Long story short he broke up with me and not because I was clingy, but because I lied to him about something really bad. In my defense I know lying is wrong, but at the same time I was young and I've matured enough to never do that again. Anyway I stopped talking to him for like 4 or 5 years because I was hurt plus I knew he was too, so I reached out to him again recently and he accepted my offer. He started saying that he thinks we should just be friends and then few days later he calls me gorgeous and just drowning me in compliments. Plus he said I matured into a fine woman and he also agreed that I was one of a kind and always have been. Next year I am visiting California, I told him that I would like to see him even if it was for a couple of minutes and he said he would love to meet up for at least a couple of hours. I'm just going to take it slow with him as friends and hope for the best, but I was wondering if anyone ever won their Gemini ex back or if you are a Gemini did you ever go back to an ex that you see has changed? Also Geminis how do you feel when your ex randomly comes back into your life?
Also I'm an Aquarius female.

Yes absolutely.  My moon and venus is in gemini too and If I love someone could probably forgive them for anything as long as they loved me back.
Or maybe I'm just really stupid but idk I'm very light about things.
I never get jealous either...
However if I feel like someone did not love me and was taking advantage of me we would have a different situation. but I seem to have this dynamic where we are on and off because of reasons but we're both mutable so it's really hard...maybe your fixed energy will keep things stable?

Im a gemini and my ex is a gemini. We parted ways but we are still friends. Too much jealousy and possessiveness. But it depends. Very draining.

Lol pretty much when we talk I can tell I can get him to focus and I definitely give him space like I don't cling to him at all. Do you think it's a good thing that he still compliments me? It's not even just physical either! He also called me smart which I was happy to hear.

Well anyone can be jealous in any type of relationship.
It depends on the person and the relationship.
Jealousy is related to not feeling secure with someone.

irrelevant to me. Im just not prone to jealously in love because I honestly don't believe I'm replaceable.. like no one will understand the needs that I can provide.
I understand people do stupid things and that it does not change the way they feel about you.
I don't fall in love within the spur of the moment anyways with just anyone.
It's a very calculative decision to open my heart.
So if I feel like I am replaceable than I will keep it closed because you don't deserve it.

Im a newbie but a Gemini Sun n mercury. I have taken back a Scorpio ex. As long as u dont discuss the past a lot n keep things fresh, fun n stimulating he might take u back. The only Gemini anything I would consider without the fear of being f**ked over would be the moons. At least they have feelings, add some other elements to help dilute it a bit though. From what I've seen myself if they're interested in you or want you back they'll do whatever possible to get it. If they don't like you or care for you then I'd forget it completely. I have saturn aspecting my moon-sun!This is why I'm calculative.
Otherwise I would be a mess probably LOL I think uranus and jupiter, neptune in synastry helps with avoiding jealousy Sun/moon trine jupiter synastry

for myself I can stay friends with ex but it will never be more than friends.
but as in Aqua-Gemini couples I know at least four couples and they last a long time. I don't know if they ever break up and get back together. but break up is normal. everyone in relationship goes through that. if they both want to get back together, they will. ------------------
