Both Taurus(Venus ruled) and Scorpio (Mars and Pluto ruled) have this thing about wanting their lover to be physically present- in order to be close to them.

Once far apart,Taurus can start to feel very insecure and doubtful. Whilst Scorpio gets jealous and suspicious about whom you may be spending time with.

So if there are quarrels,it is likely because of insecurities or feeling "less stable" when apart etc.
