Lollll I hadn't even read the other replies before I said "Scorpio everything" .. I guess I'm not the first person who thought of that haha

I disagree with Pisces though. Pisces can be a huge headache for a Cap influenced person.

I would also have to say find a Scorpio sun with a Sag mercury who is mature and didn't have a f*cked up childhood lol. (Scorpios can either be kind of a disaster or the most amazing people ever depending on maturity and other factors) Maybe a Virgo moon, in your 1st or 12th would make it easier to connect.

I wouldn't recommend dating a water Venus. It sounds like a nice compliment to aloof Aqua but from my experience it just never works (idk about Scorpio though, that could actually be good)

And yes us Sag moons are dangerous. Be sure to wear garlic if you have to be around one for too long or at least don't forget to bring a cross

Hmmmm I see sag moon is probably a bad idea for her.

Scorpio sun taurus moon sounds better.

I think she would enjoy taurus energy since it compliments her mars and earth placements.

synastry
Scorpio sun conjunct pluto
Taurus moon conjunct mars.
Sags mercs conjunct.
Venus in libra conjunct your moon.
Mars in aqua conjunct your venus.

^^Yeah sorry I was just kidding. I wish I knew more male Sag moons irl cause I have no idea how they act in relationships (other than one experience which actually was pretty horrible lol), but I know the females can be difficult too so I agree it's probably not what cappy would want...

Taurus is a good idea though. And actually that above synastry does seem pretty perfect... There really should be a dating site where you can see everyone's chart with their profile lol

OMGGGGGGG
good idea.

We should invent one..
It can be a social experiment too..

Just put your data and we'll match with a program that takes synastry information...

It can be the general public they don't even have to know about astrology.
But we take this data an claim we can find you a soul mate LOL...

Cappy - What do you think of Aron Ralston? born: 27/10/1975.. Scorpio Sun, Leo Moon, Cancer AC and Mars, Virgo Venus... Mercury conj Pluto in Libra..

Background story:

quote:
On April 26, 2003, Aron Ralston was hiking through Blue John Canyon, in eastern Wayne County, Utah, just south of the Horseshoe Canyon unit of Canyonlands National Park. While he was descending a slot canyon, a suspended boulder he was climbing down became dislodged, crushing his right hand and pinning it against the canyon wall.[5] Ralston had not informed anybody of his hiking plans, thus no one would be searching for him.

Assuming that he would die, he spent five days slowly sipping his small amount of remaining water, approximately 350 ml (12 imp fl oz) and slowly eating his small amount of food, two burritos, while trying to extricate his arm. His efforts were futile as he could not free his arm from the 800 lb (360 kg) chockstone. After three days of trying to lift and break the boulder, the dehydrated and delirious Ralston prepared to amputate his trapped right arm at a point on the mid-forearm, in order to escape. He experimented with tourniquets and made some exploratory superficial cuts to his forearm in the first few days. On the fourth day he realized that in order to free his arm he would have to cut through the bones in it, but the tools he had available were insufficient to do so.

When he ran out of food and water on the fifth day, he was forced to drink his own urine. He carved his name, date of birth and presumed date of death into the sandstone canyon wall, and videotaped his last goodbyes to his family. He did not expect to survive the night. After waking at dawn the following day (Thursday, May 1) he had an epiphany that he could break his radius and ulna bones using torque against his trapped arm. He did so, then performed the amputation, which took about one hour with his multi-tool, which included a dull two-inch knife. He never named the manufacturer of the tool he used, other than to say it was not a Leatherman but "what you'd get if you bought a $15 flashlight and got a free multi-use tool".[6]

After freeing himself, Ralston still had to get back to his car. He climbed out of the slot canyon in which he had been trapped, rappelled down a 65-foot (20 m) sheer wall one-handed, then hiked out of the canyon in the hot midday sun. He was 8 miles (13 km) from his vehicle, and had no phone. However, while hiking out of the canyon, he encountered a family on vacation from the Netherlands, Eric and Monique Meijer and their son Andy, who gave him food and water and then hurried to alert the authorities. Ralston had feared he would bleed to death; he lost 40 pounds, including 25% of his blood volume. Fortunately, the rescuers searching for Ralston, alerted by his family that he was missing, had narrowed the search down to Canyonlands and flew by in their helicopter. He was rescued six hours after amputating his arm.

Ralston has said that if he had amputated his arm earlier, he would have bled to death before being found, while if he had not done it he would have been found dead in the slot canyon days later. He believed he was looking forward to the amputation and the freedom it would give.[7]

Later, his severed hand and forearm were retrieved from under the boulder by park authorities. According to television presenter Tom Brokaw,[8] it took 13 men, a winch and a hydraulic jack to move the boulder so that Ralston's arm could be removed. His arm was then cremated and the ashes given to Ralston. He returned to the accident scene with Tom Brokaw and a camera crew six months later on his 28th birthday to film a Dateline NBC special about the accident and to scatter the ashes of his arm where he says they belong.

Lol Yessss!

New business venture? I'm down lol.

I know there's the site "moonit" but that's so simplistic, I think they just calculate the compatibility based on the closest aspect or something... It could be taken much further

Her cap logic is probably like who goes hiking alone and taurus mars is like.... WHO GOES HIKING???

It impresses my own Cap energy and from a purely Cap pov it would feel extremely safe and pleasant to date a guy like that. It would feel like being 'set for life' because you know:
- he is completely independent and can take care of himself
- he has and can make more money
- he is too realistic to play any kind of game and not take life seriously
- his story and general energy says 'reliable' and 'survivalist'.

From an Aries pov this particular guy seems too serious, but unlike me Cappy does not have Aries in her chart.

It was just a suggestion loll
I'm not saying she should go for him. She'll likely never meet him.

But I thought she might like his type. They have a lot of compatible signs.
His Mercury/Pluto could be conjunct her Moon.. His Scorpio is compatible with her Capricorn placements - and Cancer is extremely compatible with Taurus. Taurus Mars and Cancer Mars are a very good match (but of course it depends on the orb as well).

I was just curious if she'd like him lol

It's just an idea!!

Oh and I almost forgot... Virgo Venus possibly conjunct her Ascendant!!

quote:
Her cap logic is probably like who goes hiking alone

Capricorn loves ambitious people who climb to the top in their line of work or interest -- and who meet the goals they set for themselves..

eg.

quote:
He (Aron Ralston) had the goal of climbing all of Colorado's "fourteeners" — peaks over 14,000 ft high, of which there are 59; solo and during winter (a feat that had never been recorded). He subsequently achieved this goal in 2005

LOL maybe he's right for you?

Idk it seems extremely random choice for her.
Maybe an extreme choice?

I don't think she's really an extreme person irl
Libra moon probably keeps her balanced subtle.

I think she's having a hard time finding a nice guys in a sea of garbage, I think she mentioned before that one of her good friends is a drug dealer..
so this leads me to believe her environment is not full of really stable people and that's why she's never dated any guys.

She did mention being attracted to older guys because of probably this very reason.
Again it's probably scary for her too..

Most cap suns I know are pretty careful...
I don't think they would do anything too reckless like go an adventure with out proper safety conditions.
plus she has virgo asc and taurus mars which adds caution.

You can tell from her personality that she's pretty cautious and fussy about a lot of things...
I don't she would be impressed by scars and like some girls are.
I GOT THIS SCAR FROM FIGHTING A SHARK.

maybe an aries girl lol?

I don't think he is right for me.. because I don't particularly like our synastry. From what I know about him - he seems like someone I would 'like' as a person.. but not fall in love with.

Well he has Libra Mercury conj Pluto.
I like Capricorn planets conj my Moon and I generally like Moon/Pluto aspects in synastry... so I thought she might also like this aspect (if they have it!)

LOL

But with this guy - it's not about the "scars" Kero.. It's about his commitment to staying alive and managing to do that... and his commitment to his goals in general.

I don't she would be impressed by scars and like some girls are.

I disagree. A Libra woman would be impressed by someone showing off with their scars.
Libra is attracted to Aries style behaviour... because of the opposition.

An Aries woman would want to be the centre of attention .. so she would want to be the one showing off to a man who is providing an adoring audience for her. She would want to be the one with the "cool" scars.. not him.

Cancer Mars men are a handful (although not necessarily violent like this dude) and they tend to bruise easily particularly when they come in contact with Cap/Sag/Aqua bluntness. I wouldn't recommend them for anyone unless you know what you're getting into and you want that kind of drama they provide(or they have enough air/earth to balance things a little bit).
Libra Mars on the other hand seems like a good match. They are sweet, considerate and they like to charm and impress their love interest.

Yup.

Thanks for that info. I was completely expecting someone to dig up something interesting like that.
Not at all surprised.
Props for research!

I still think he seems stable and trustworthy based on most of the information available on his life (because I like looking at the big picture), but I don't know him personally nor could I care less about him.
I actually only recently found out his story.

I WAS GIVING AN EXAMPLE OF A GUY WITH A CHART THAT IS COMPATIBLE WITH HERS.

That is all. I am really not interested in discussing him for the rest of the thread lol

Are you all in love with Cappy and jealous? Is that the problem?

I am very confused here.

Did I overstep in some way on this thread by mentioning an actual man (who exists) with a chart that I think is compatible with hers?

Was I supposed to stick to discussing signs - and not mention an actual person?

I am just baffled by the intense reactions.

Or is the problem the fact that I posted his story - and not his biography?? Because I looked this up on wiki and I decided to post the story - rather than his biography.. because I thought it said more about his personality.
But apparently some are getting their knickers in a twist about that *shrug*

This thread took an interesting turn That guy...I've seen 127 Hours and it even moved me. I find his story interesting but I don't think I can say I'm impressed. I'm not in the "survive at any cost" camp (yes, I'd choose death over cutting my arm off) and this whole idea filled me with dread. I can understand it though. Generally, my main reaction is feeling sorry for people who went through such things. Looks wise, I think he's ok.

That's great, I'm all for making dreams come true. But this won't turn me into a groupie either =] Maybe if it was something else...I like muscular bodies and stuff but showing off the physical power doesn't tend to impress me.

Hmmm. The conjunction sounds compelling indeed.

I have an idea...I'll be nice and help you by posting the chart of my celeb crush. I know we've never met bla bla but this could give you the idea of the energies that can attract me, at least from afar.
