Hi Stargazers,I had to walk away from a friendship because it kept making me very sad, and it felt very one sided. I ended the friendship when the moon was at 6 degrees Cancer. I feel bad, but part of me feels that its the karmic or fateful thing to do. If anyone has any insight as to the moon's placement and ending a relationship, I would greatly appreciate it Thanks so much IP: Logged |

I don't know man, I wouldn't pick Cancer because it's so past-oriented and overly emotional.Depends on how you want it to end, I guess. I've never actually looked at it that way... But the Moon seems pretty important when it comes to making decisions that somehow affect our emotional life, indeed. If you want a clean cut, Air signs seem like the best bet - they're detached and rational, yet diplomatic and can get their message across (talking about the "pure" energy, here). IP: Logged |

I tend to look at the Moon for just about everything, then again, my Moon is Cancer. But I'm not sure sign would be where I'd look first. We're in a waxing gibbous right now, which indicates completions. I guess ending a friendship could be called a completion, but perhaps not the kind we'd ordinarily think of. Second I'd look at which house the Moon falls in. I get the impression that you've thought about ending this friendship for some time. If not, and it was more impulsive, aspects could show what's been going on. IP: Logged |

Yeah, good points, mcm.It probably depends on the other transits in the sky at the time + the natal chart. Right now the Moon is actually in Cancer in a T-square with Jupiter/Uranus/Pluto and at a wider orb - Venus. Intense? You bet. I need to look into the Lunar phases more... I tend to overlook them a lot but they seem to be quite important. Even in natal charts, they can shed some light on our emotional nature and overall temperament, although I'm not sure how accurate they truly are. IP: Logged |
