Topic: Virgo anxiety

Hi everyone  So, recently I've been having a lot of nervous anxiety. Repetitive, analytical thoughts. I think this is largely because my life is in sort of a moot, uncertain spot at the moment and my mind tries to piece together the millions of different outcomes that could or could not happen. I know this is a virgo trait, and my mind is always doing this to some degree. I was wondering how other Virgos keep this in check. Sometimes I find my mind in a spot where I might think of something for 20 minutes until I cram together some sort of vague mental solution that seems good enough to let me stop thinking about it... Then I'll be on to something else. Usually this isn't that big of a deal, but I am having a harder time controlling it lately. So, what do others do? Is there a specific thing that calms YOUR mind? I totally understand you. I have a Virgo ASC/Rising and Moon.My only escape is music. I listen, write, and make music. If not, I have pills. My anxiety is really bad and I sometimes have anti-social moments. IP: Logged |

Thanks for the reply, revolution. I also play music, but I don't do it as much as I used to. Maybe I have so much nervous energy because I have stopped doing a lot of the more creative things that I used to. I don't really want to resort to pills, but I have considered it in passing...

Yes! Tend to your creative outlet(s) again. Those with major Virgo energy need to release their energy or else it'll deteriorate their health. Those with major Virgo energy are crafty, crafty, crafty.  IP: Logged |

My surroundings give me a lot of inspiration and things to do. Or, it could just be the work of my other placements, but I think my life is pretty interesting. If you can't motivate yourself or find something motivating, try being happy. When I can't do anything else I make myself laugh until my ribs hurt. Heavy Virgo energy people just need to experiment a lot until they can find a way to cope or release. However, because we have Virgo in us I don't think we'll ever feel tranquility. This is something we have to deal and live with. So, what I'm saying is find something that will cure you for the time being. Find a lot of them. Yeah, I think the lack of tranquility is what drives me crazy. If I am mentally bored at all my mind explodes. I'd like to be able to go an entire day without necessarily feeling mentally stimulated and not have my brain go in millions of different ridiculous directions. I guess I need to start some sort of project outside of work. Pushing papers in the office leaves my little gray cells without much to. Do you find that you are continually working on some project or another on your free time?IP: Logged |

yeah I hear ya. I'm a Virgo and think a lot, like to examine things from all angles and above all gain CLARITY about a situation. But then once I do I move on to the next thing!I find intense exercise (not gyms, rather swimming or walking outside) and/or creativity gets me out of that tendency to overanalyze to the point of nervous exhaustion. OCD activities such as organizing or tidying up don't help though. IP: Logged |

I feel you a lot on this. I was actually sleeping when some people yelling outside woke me up. Now I can't sleep again because my virgo brain begins to worry, cause there is not so many hours until I shall go to work and I'm too tired. ANY other sun sign would fall asleep again instantly and hardly notice anything. But me, I have to wake up and begin to think about random stuff for hours. I HATE BEING VIRGOOOO right now. I have Virgo in Mercury so I think all the time and I can't shut it off. I have a lot of anxiety. I should probably try exercising more. IP: Logged |

I totally agree, I want to think stuff to death to achieve some sort of CLARITY. But why do we wake up in the middle of the night and lie awake trying to clarify ridiculous random things! It's infuriating!
Also, that's a good point about the unfinished projects. I always think about things in terms of the finished product rather than as something that I can leave unfinished so I'll have something to work on when I need to. Unfinished can equal good... Never thought about it that way.IP: Logged |

I have a Virgo asc conj Mars and Virgo Asc,Sun, Venus, Mars, Mercury in my progressed chart and my brain is lit up 24/7. I am also in the midst of a HUGE life makeover and I run over existing and non-existing details nonstop till exhaustion. Only 3 things that help are spending time with animals (horses in my case), hitting the gym or going for loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong walks or tapping the wine bottle of all its contents.IP: Logged |

Moon in Virgo 11th inconjunct Saturn trine Neptune, people make me anxious because I fear rejection. In fact, I'm only social if I have an intuitive feeling I'm accepted. Otherwise all the other people can go and do one and shove their judgemental attitudes where the sun doesn't shine, baby. IP: Logged |

Charlie, I've actually been thinking about getting a cat. I grew up with lots of animals around but I didn't really want any when I moved away from home... But they ARE calming an it's nice to have another creature around. That sounds like something a lonely old spinster lady would say.Well I'm out of luck if I jut need S3X! My boyfriend is away for work for a while.
I also feel that other people can shove it, neptunian... But mostly because I don't typically like other people, not because of social anxiety in this case. I think most people act like fools and let themselves live with low standards when they can do a lot better. Really snobby, right? Lol I think virgo aspects just make you somewhat anti social for whatever reason.

I don't mind people at all, but what I cannot stand is ugliness from the inside, I know people are not perfect, but it does not give them an excuse to be rude, judgemental, and obnoxious. Then again, I think that is my libra asc, but I tend to be critical of those things because of my Virgo moonness  and I absorb a lot of ugliness from people (Neptune square asc) and it just makes me anxious, so I only talk to those who I can trust and know where i stand. Also, there is nothing wrong with being snobby, or you could just call it having standards and boundaries and not lowering your self worth to scum (happened to me in the past and now I'm learning to trust what I want from others ect)
