I really have watched Merc combust the Sun and I think it is one of the hardest aspects out there.

It makes it super, super hard to detach. One must detach if one is to have sanity because people harass people. One must detach from one's own emotions, too.

With the Sun/merc combust, every degree is key, too.

Anyway, please tell me if this works the same way, if you know.

The points relating to Sun combust Moon I discovered are as follows:

- Hot headedness or quick to anger when hurt or abused;
- Mental agony or anguish;
- Prone to depression.

I have Sun combust the Moon +1* in Leo.

I would say that since I was about 14, I have always felt a sense of depression. It was very bad from my early 20's, until I turned 30 this year. I don't like to admit it. But I don't feel like it rules me now either so it is easier to admit. I would say it has more so put strain on important relationships as my partners have always said I am depressed. They would ask why am I like this?

I would say that I am very hard on myself mentally and probably cause a lot of my own drama through self torturing. I have always felt a lack of self worth, and as a result, low self confidence. I find my lack of self confidence really strange considering I am Sun, Moon and Venus in Leo. I think this combust aspect is very hard even on someone that should be confident like myself. I will digress and say that in particular situations, I am extremely confident, like a Leo should be. But in general, I have lacked self confidence.

I have always been quick to anger, especially where I feel my emotions are being slighted, or if I am not getting the attention I feel I need (though this is a common trait for Leo Sun in general).

I recently turned 30. I am not sure who it was, but I was told that 30 would be a turning point in my life. I have gone through some rough times this year. I have been broken down to nothing, brutalized emotionally and spiritually, kicked around like a rag doll. To a point where I feel that everything I have been up until now is gone. There is no real anger in me anymore - it feels like my anger died or someone through a blanket on it, starving it of oxygen. I feel a sense of self worth and more self confidence than I've ever felt in my life. Almost like a new person, like the old person has left me.

They are both luminaries. The sun burns the moon and the Moon quenches the Sun in theory..

So basically there's a lot of steam.

I take what I know about the combust and apply it here and it seems to fit, as you seem to be saying.

I have several combusted planets and don't agree with any of what's said about them.

The sign and houses that those planets are in matter, as well as the degree.

Imo when the sun is in close contact to a planet it makes the energy of that planet stronger, the good, bad and the ugly.

The Sun-Moon conjunction in Aquarius 1st house is very different than in Scorpio 12th house for example.

In general, when you look at aspects you have to look at the sign and house to tell more how and where it plays out.

Especially for conjunction which is strongest aspect.

Aaand also -- what are the other aspects that planets involved make? Are they possibly part of stellium, T-Square, Grand Trine..? That must taken into account as well.
