In synastry... I have this Aries guy's chart finally and I didn't ask his birth time but he's either a Leo or Virgo moon (seems more Leo I think), Taurus Venus, Pisces Merc, Cap MarsHis Mars is conjunct my Sun, and my Mars is conjunct his Venus... Oh and his Pluto squares my Venus lol. Anyway I've never had Mars conjunct Venus in synastry but I've read the Mars person is usually more attracted/forward, which yes I'm very attracted to him physically. But then from what I've read and also from past experience, the Sun person tends to be the pursuer or more attracted to Mars... So why is that? You would think mars would always be the pursuer? I don't want to be the more intense one in the dynamics lol. It seems very mutual so far but it's still early... IP: Logged |

It's unlikely you would be the more intense one.. because the Sun sign is still the core of the personality - and an Aries Sun man is likely to be more intense than a Capricorn Sun woman and much more sexually charged. So don't worry about being the intense one! Specially if his Moon is in Leo.He has many of my placements.. Pisces Mercury and Taurus Venus/Cap Mars. I am definitely toned down by my earthy placements but I am still very emotionally intense in comparison to earth Sun people I know. About Mars in synastry..... usually the Mars-person does initiate - but Taurus Mars is a very calm and laid back Mars. I've had my Taurus Venus conjunct the guy's Mars a bunch of times. The first was my first love and that turned out horribly.. but it's besides the point lol In the initial stages my experience with the Taurus Mars person was that they behaved in a way that drew my attention to them (a lot!) but they did not pursue in a forward manner (because Taurus Mars is detriment). As a Capricorn Mars person .. (like your guy)... I am more likely to be the one initiating things if I am involved with a Taurus Mars. I am also much more proactive in general.. so I don't feel imposed upon by having to initiate. I am positive that when this Aries guy is sure he wants something to happen he will make it very clear - he will be very honest and very straight-forward with you. With Capricorn Mars he can take his time.. get to know you etc. I am like this. I'm never in rush... but Taurus Mars isn't in a rush either.. Just let things happen at their own pace. You have good synastry! IP: Logged |

^^Wow that's cool that you have such similar placements. Are you also a Pisces NN and Taurus Jupiter by any chance? Venus conjunct Mars in Taurus is interesting since it does seem to slow things down. I've never dated an earth Venus before, but so far I really like the stable/calm vibe which I think goes well with my Cancer Asc... Although yeah I can see why Taurus is ruled by Venus but doesn't mesh as well with Mars, since we do like our comfort (a little too much) and you're right initiating things quickly isn't our strong point lol. So I guess I hadn't thought about how Cap mars would be a lot more active in general, so that's good.. And they're trine by aspect so they should still flow well together Also good to hear about him being honest and straight forward. I noticed he has no air planets which is interesting since he's very articulate and almost eloquent (probably the Pisces Mercury) in everything he says. Even his texts are all correctly punctuated and everything lol. His Merc and NN conjunct my MC though so I like the way he communicates... And overall I like the rest of the synastry too... his Sun makes a grand trine with my Moon and Jupiter, and isn't clashing with my Cap sun which is nice. Anyway, thanks for all your feedback! It's helpful to hear from someone who has similar placements IP: Logged |

In the case of Mars aspect Venus in synastry Mars acts and Venus reacts (so in theory, Mars person would be the puruser. While Venus person reacts in a romantic way. The Venus person loves Mars person. But Mars person feels passion towards Venus person. It is not strange that the Mars person is always the one who initiate the sexual act. Other thing I know is that the Venus person is very physically attracted to the Mars one. Venus person finds Mars physically attractive. The same occurs when someone's Venus aspects someone's 1st house ruler of falls in someone's 1st. Mars conjunct Sun could be double sided. But perhaps the Sun person can feel that the Mars person is a pushover.
