To me I think the house is more important than the sign. DeepFreeze has first house Libra Pluto and he's pretty damn intense, and because I have that first house Scorpio venus it just eats it all up

But not those born after 1990 !

That is a whole different generation. I know so many people born after 1990 who is down with anything. They just have sex with everybody in their friend group and love threesomes lol.

That could just be their age though.
I mean sex was HUGE in the 60s/70s as well as other times when Pluto wasn't in scorpio.
Or the "baby boomers" after WWII.
Just a couple of examples.

I find labeling people according to the sign of the slowest moving planet funny.

Age and the times we live in though. People forget that.

It could be multiple different things in their charts to make them that way, not just their Pluto lol.

While technically true, we move around it, thus from our perspective it changes signs every month. Astrologically, it does "move".

I kind of agree here. Not to say that Pluto in one sign isn't different but it can't be THAT much.
The aspects would play a much greater role as well as house placements.
Otherwise why would we even bother with such small details such as asteroids if these slow moving, generational planets had such a profound influence? Aspects aside.

To me people WANT to believe that scorpio/scorpio like/Pluto energy automatically just pops out in a chart because "we" love scorpio here on LL.
Aspects, aspects, aspects.

Edit: which the OP does specify aspects.

Pluto in Scorpio in the 4th within a Yod with Uranus in Capricorn in the 6th and Moon in Gemini in the 11th as the apex.

I'm going to change and transform this world completely - for the better, just you wait!

"Mercurian, this thread is not about your Pluto, but about discussing Pluto in sign generations."
Mercurian - "Oh, well deal with what I said, because it's all about that change and transformation."
"Right. And being on here is going to help with that."
Mercurian - "Hey! Shut up! I'm working on it!"

I know, I was just being "deep" and getting I'm so cappy's goat. That's how greedy I am for goats.

I disagree, but that's okay. Hey I'll bet the phrase "let's agree to disagree" was invented by a Libra Pluto person.

We? Not me. Some people might ignore the generational planets because they make that person feel less special. And hey, who wants to feel that?

Aspects, aspects, aspects.

That could be a factor, there could be overemphasis on Pluto by the Scorpio Pluto peeps, but it doesn't change Pluto's importance IMHO.

And if I don't sound humble, pardon that H, but I have 3H Pluto and it intensifies everything I say, even if it's a slow planet.

I dig Pluto, and I (usually) like it in my chart, and even in hard aspect with transits (again...usually).

But I do think it depends on aspects and placements, ultimately with everything.

I'm sure there are some similarities within the generations that resemble their Pluto signs, but I don't really notice them that much.
A slight difference in values and emphasis, maybe.

My brother has Pluto in Scorpio, a Pisces Sun, Gemini Ac and Aries Moon, and he's pretty damn chatty in general, and there is absolutely nothing Plutonian or Scorpio-like about him whatsoever.

My other brother also has Pluto in Scorpio, Virgo Sun, Aqua Ac, and Leo Moon. He can be a little more stand-offish and aloof with people, and he's a little more intense than my Pisces brother, maybe because of some oppositions or just that odd Virgo intensity some Virgos have.

And...my other brother (I have three) is a Libra Sun with Libra Pluto, Pisces Moon, and Cap Ac. He's pretty reserved when he meets people, and is rather brooding in general.

Faith,
About that third house. See that makes more sense but is it SO powerful that you overwhelm people?
Or do talk about sex all of the time? Obsessed taking about sex, taboo things?

Mine is 1st conjunct asc.
More than first I think the conjunction matters more. ..
Aspect>house>Pluto?

I've personally never picked up intensity in your posts.
I don't get a lot of intensity from 99% of people.

You mean aspects>house>sign?

I'm not saying Pluto should be ignored, I simply think the sign it falls into is not very important. This planet definitely can be powerful and I can feel it. But: it's my water singleton, it's in my 3rd house and it aspects my Sun, Mars and Vertex. I'm also Mercury ruled so I suppose that house is quite receptive in my case.

Pluto can be both super revealing and dead quiet secretive, and I kind of oscillate between the two.

@I'm so cappy

If you get a chance, pick up Jeff Green's book on Pluto (actually it's a two volume set, but I'm talking about Volume 1.) He describes the Pluto signs and house placements very well. After reading about the Pluto signs and watching people for a little while, I am seeing their Pluto signs more clearly, and I haven't even finished the book yet.

People tend to think it is but yes, actually, reading about it I don't recall sex being brought up either now that you mention it.

Pluto's associated with Scorpio and the 8th house, which are associated with sex.

This is rather interesting, I think.
I do relate to the description, perhaps more strongly since it conjuncts my Asc? (relationship axis) but then virgo mercury mars and venus could cause similar perhaps.http://www.trans4mind.com/personal_development/astrology/LearningAstrology/si gnsPluto.htm
