How big of an orb do you use for natal/synastry/transit?

I've heard that natally the max orb is 10 degrees, synastry is a maximum of 4 degrees and I haven't heard anything about transits.

I'm trying to figure out when transit uranus will be conjunct my sun (28 degrees aries)

So what do you guys go by??

I don't think 10 for natal and 4 for synastry are absolutes. Luminaries get wider orbs. Transpersonals get tighter orbs. I wouldn't use 10 degrees with a natal Uranus aspect...more like 5. For a transit with Uranus, I'd use 1 or 2 degrees.
