This can make you shine, in terms of being a large presence. It may make it hard for you to see from the perspective of other people. IOW, you may see so much from your own eyes that you may miss what others are feeling.

Also, take the House rulers for each planet that is in the 1st house. This will tell you what areas in life are most important to you!

It is called a stellium. That is great that you have all those planets in the first house. I have six planets in the 8th house and if you know anything about the 8th house you can imagine what my life is like.

Everything in life and in the mind relates back to sex, whats taboo, and the unseen things fascinate them like nothing else!
Just a guess though, my 8th is empty!
Maybe a big inheritance is coming your way to??

My life is dark, filled with unresolved issues relating to death, hidden family problems/secrets that others don't see but behind closed doors the issues/secrets are huge problems, sun/moon/venus/pluto/mars/mercury all in 8th.

One astrologer wrote the 8th house is where " It's where your soul must peel off a layer of dead skin and make itself bleed in order to renew itself" so yeah metaphorically this happens a lot. With all six planets that are in there. So, basically that is what my life is like.

Planets in 8th are difficult to handle, because it’s a house which deals with issues related to others, and we have to resolve them in a very indirect way. I have Moon in 8th and I’ve discovered plenty of skeletons in the closet so far. I actually feel comfortable with them, they don’t bother me much. You’ve got too many planets in there. Pluto being in there helps, but changes brought by Pluto might be too drastic for the rest of your planets in 8th.

I keep telling everyone this, Anon, but many make me out to be a whiner. Things are very difficult for me and I try to learn and seek help...to find my way out of the darkness.

Most people are wrapped up in their own worlds, telling them will hardly make any difference. But I do agree, having a shoulder you can cry on, during difficult times, helps a lot. Maybe writing them down in a journal will help you ? I do it. Then I burn it. Watching them burn feels very therapeutic to me.

Having many planets on the 1st house makes one more sure of their own outlook on life as they have so many planets "backing" their view.

The reason that the 1st house is often compared to an "Aries-like " character is because the person concerned can seem so self-absorbed and unable to see other people's points of views.

But it doesn't necessarily mean that you assume all the "Aries" traits. The sign on the 1st house cusp is Capricorn after all and this is what dominates.

Capricorn is order, discipline, planning, success, ambition, purpose, goal, tenacity, achievement and personal upliftment.

So this is what will characterize your identity. You will seek to make a success of yourself in life and your outlook will always discern mountains to climb and status to attain(Capricorn).

Because of such a high concentration of Capricorn energy in the 1st, your inability to empathize with others or see their point of view will also be obvious.

This is most likely with those that represent or project the Cancer energy; emotional, soft, changeable, irrational, intense, subjective and demanding of physical affection and tenderness.

You may also physically take on the Capricorn energy; good bone structure, bony physique, stoic facial expression, dry skin, a tendency to avoid emotional expression which makes the chest seem folded inward as if "hiding the love", a "mature" for your age face etc.

The ruler of the Asc is Saturn and so, find which house Saturn is placed in your chart because that is the area that will have a very personal(1st house) effect on you.

I have 4 planets in the 8th house and I don't fully "get" the effect of this house.

What is the sign cusp of your 8th house?

Often, it is written that when the 8th house is crowded natally, one must look to the 2nd house to "disarm" the intense focus on 8th house related issues. Have you tried that?

@ Asc - Virgo is on the cusp of my 8th house.

What should I do as far as looking towards the 2nd house to help with my packed 8th house? Pisces rules my 2nd house and there are no planets in my 2nd house. Neptune is in my 10th house though.

Virgo on the cusp of the 8th house heh? That can be rough.

8th house denotes many things, but I find that issues with regards to intimacy speak the loudest.

Virgo on the cusp of the 8th house can , on the one hand, make sex very difficult to initiate because one finds the whole affair just uncomfortable and "dirty".

On the other hand, it can also denote someone who is very "skilled" and very good with the "act" of sex.

However,in both instances the Virgo may have gotten the general idea of sex. But there always seems to be a failure to connect with the partner from an emotional base.

This can leave one feeling apathetic to intimacy or seeing sex as "work"(Virgo) and thus not forming relationships of the intimate nature that one desires.

So when we look to the 2nd house of Pisces , we may find some release?

Pisces attitude to things is to just let it "be". The energy here avoids the intellectual detail and pre-occupation and relies on instincts.

So perhaps yoga, meditation, momentary solitude to quieten the mind, sitting for an hour each day doing NOTHING and thinking NOTHING can help alleviate much of the stress and strain of an over-active nervous system?

When in moments that require the heart rather than the mind(which 8th house is all about) start by speaking nothing, thinking nothing and just being PRESENT.

Once you practice this and guide your mind to focus on NOTHING , I'd imagine intimacy may well start to feel more enjoyable and inclusive of you.

Thanks, Asc. Can I continue this conversation with you in separate post? I will title the post Virgo on 8th to help you find it. I don't want to take over the OP's post.

I have mars/uranus/neptune/saturn/mercury/venus conjunct my Capricorn Ascendant, nep/sat/merc/ven in the 1st house, the stellium forms 6 trines my taurus moon on 4th/5th house cusp. the whole stellium is opposite to Chiron directly on the descendant. Pluto is conjunct my MC and sextiles the stellium, and my Aquarius sun is square to MC/Pluto/Moon. I think its made me very multidimensional personally, its like embodying the traits of each planet and they're all fighting for expression, i feel a stelliums energy is almost superhuman if you can handle it. I can hit the gym all week, go on runs, learn and get better at my profession, and go out and DJ/party/network every day of the weekend and not get tired at all. I'm very social too, i expand my social circle with amazing new people each week, being dominated by Saturn conj Capricorn Ascendant and 6 planets in capricorn, i'm the least anti-social person, i can make new friends just about anywhere if i want to, and i tend to get along with woman more then guys too. I'm also a very selfless person and feel connected to a global consciousness so relating to other poeple is easy for me, having 6 trines to my moon i can really "feel and see" how others feel, which helps me connect with others because there's nothing i like more then to help others with their problems. I think with a stellium it's all about realizing and controlling the energies, or else it can disperse into chaos. "with great power comes great responsibility"
