I have Jupiter retrograde in my natal chart and have been reading conflicting reports. Is a retrograde Jupiter at birth good or bad? I have read one account that it means more abundance than normal throughout life but I have also read that it means you get less than the normal Jupiter rewards throughout life. I have seen some celebrities who have retrograde Jupiter and they have a lot of luck - dumb luck if you will - they fall into wonderful opportunities left and right. So far, I guess there could be instances where I could say this happens (falling into opportunities, but on a much lesser scale) but for the most part I don't have much luck in life. Can anyone offer any advice in regard to Jupiter retrograde in natal chart?

I'm not consider Jupiter Rx or detriment, Falls as a bad luck at all. Because the real miss-fortune planets , are Saturn and pluto when they form hard aspect . And Jupiter turn retrograde around 6 months , then there're around 50% of population that have this Rx in their natal , do you consider the 50% of population on earth autimaticly bad luck?Imho IP: Logged |

Jupiter has a lot to do with Growth/Expansion - something that becomes apparent based on the sign and house in which it falls. Plus the aspects - which show in which way you're influenced in terms of growth. If Jupiter is direct - that implies outer expansions, if it's Retrograde - it implies inner expansion. What does that mean (one might ask)? Well - with Jupiter direct, you'll fill rich when you have stuff to show - that reflect your expansion (be it financial, studies - or all kind of experiences that you can show on the outside). With Jupiter Retrograde - you fill rich only if you grow on the inside... Even if you achieve as much as Bill Gates - you'll still fill poor... like you haven't earned enough or to little. So, just look at the house and sign in which it falls - and you'll know what you might have to do to feel rich. Cause - on the other hand, if you grow on the inside - even if you're broke on the outside - you'll feel rich.IP: Logged |

Thnx 7Guardians With Jupiter Retrograde - you fill rich only if you grow on the inside... Even if you achieve as much as Bill Gates - you'll still fill poor... like you haven't earned enough or to little. That's explain a whole about my Jupiter . I have Rx Jupiter natally and it's in detriment in Virgo and moreover in 12th house 3 degree from my AC. I always feel I need to fullfill my 12th area , I want to have a spiritual achievement in this life-time although my real-life achivement turning to totally opposition way. And those what you explained are so right ..... no matter what you earn like bill gates , you will never feel rich if you don't growing on to your insight ..... And Fauxcoat , I don't think it's a bad-luck at all for having this Rx , infact this jupiter safe my a$$ everytime I need it. I feel lucky to have this placement. IP: Logged |
