The current belief is that the four zodiac charts represent:

(SOUL LEVEL) [ZODIAC ORIGIN] PLANE OF REALITY
(4 HELIOCENTRIC) [SOLAR] CHRIST CONSCIOUSNESS
(3 SIDEREAL) [SPACE] COMPLETION OF KARMA
(2 TROPICAL) [TIME] PRESENT INCARNATION
(1 DRACONIC) [LUNAR] ONGOING SOUL CONTRACT

Now from my own experience I have no problem with the Heliocentric chart being the Christ Consciousness, and also have no issues with the Tropical chart being the Present Incarnation or the Personality-centered energy operating on an Earth centered viewpoint. However, I believe the terms for the Draconic and Sidereal can leave some people confused, even though the progression from the levels are correct - one moves from the Draconic to the Heliocentric.

In my life experience and reviewing my charts, I do not see the Draconic chart or its energies as an 'ongoing' soul contract. Instead, what I would say is it's an etheric or astral veil that covers the personality and defines the karmic experiences that will need to be transcended in order to progress forward. Once this is done, the personality or Tropical chart is no longer an inert personality as such but one that can be used for growth, purpose and with volition. Until karma is paid off, one actually has little power over their personality, and therefore has little power over the experiences they attract. As karma is burned off, the Sidereal chart starts to take affect (as completion of karma), where the inert or passive personality becomes a true vehicle for expression of the soul, where the mental, emotional and physical realms have been balanced and detached from the dictates of the personality or realms of 'form'. At this point, the Heliocentric energies and soul's gifts can start to be filtered into the everyday experience as one goes beyond ego and the self-centered life.

Therefore I would redefine the levels as:

(SOUL LEVEL) [ZODIAC ORIGIN] PLANE OF REALITY
(4 HELIOCENTRIC) [SOLAR] CHRIST CONSCIOUSNESS
(3 SIDEREAL) [SPACE] HIGHER SELF-EVOLVED EGO
(2 TROPICAL) [TIME] PERSONALITY-EGO
(1 DRACONIC) [LUNAR] KARMIC LESSONS/SOUL GROWTH
