I have Jupiter in 4th house natal. Jupiter is 1 degree. I also was born during a new moon so I have Libra sun/Libra moon. I have read that being born during a new moon indicates that the person will have their most benefits in early life and the person will spend the rest of their life trying to keep that momentum going. I also have Saturn in 7th and no planets in the 5th house. I don't see anything positive for my future. Also, my adult life has been so difficult; my childhood was good.

Fauxcoat, sorry to hear this. Do you have your chart? Really hard to comment without knowing the aspects.

no, it's not over!

maybe post your chart?

i'd look to squares and oppositions, this is where you will find areas that require your attention, no they aren't smooth sailing, but they bring growth and transformation. Learning to integrate the energies in these aspects will help you.

i don't have any planets in my 5th, and i have kids. so an empty 5th doesn't mean much. especially considering, there is a sign dwelling there.
saturn in the 7th could mean you will attract a saturnine partner. or lessons will come through relationships.

i don't know, i'm just saying whatever comes to mind, without seeing your chart. have you gone thru your saturn return?

Cheep up honey!! Here is the woman with grad cross in the natal chart! Trust me, that one is super difficult but I am somehow still alive ..Saturn in 7th is not that bad. Maybe your significant one would be a bit older..So what? Age difference is not that big problem..Where is and who is the house ruler btw?..Ruler of 7th?

Yes Mercuryflow, that might be..I have Neptune in 7th and i def. attract artists like xxx the flies..my ex husband is architect btw and lots of poets , painters etc are after me usually..So, i really believe that the planet in 7th represents the type of man we subcon. attract and are drown to and vice versa,.,

@Poca - the ruler of the house is Leo. Leo is on the cusp and the house is split between Leo and Virgo.

I have a difficult time imagining someone having a happy childhood and then a completely dismal adulthood.
Seems like happiness in childhood only serves as a foundation for smooth transitions later in life.
People who have awful childhoods stand a much greater chance of having gloomy, depressive adulthoods.

@ SSS - I agree. But if you take a look at the Chiron in 3rd house aspects and sun/moon in 8th house, lots of family problems. I think I was protected in childhood because Jupiter in 4th house in early degree, and during most of my childhood, pluto transited my 10th house.

Sorry dear,
I was on another TOPIC for a while...let me take a look..
I am no expat but I can try to see if i see that big bump you are talking about..

Sun, Moon, Mercury trine Jupiter in the 4th house by tight degree?..Did you got some ( big) inheritance ?? Jupiter in 4th house is ruler of 2th as well and all in trine with stelium in 8th?

Sun and Moon in such a tight conjunction??I need to think about that one..

I actually like your Natal..You seam as interesting person..Venus in 8th conjunct Mars all in Libra..humm, I bet you are artistic in some ways..Are you still there?

I'm here. No inheritance. I used to be more into the arts but not so much any more. I'd like to get back into it though.

Yes, the moon/sun conjunction is indicative of a new moon and that is the cause of the early life benefits but having the rest of the time be a struggle.

I don't see anything in my chart to indicate that there are any more benefits/positives.

Thank you for the compliment. Maybe I can try to look at it as more interesting than awful.

You have a lot going on in your eighth house. I am a depressive with moon and Saturn in the eighth. This house has a lot to do with being moody and morose.

I wouldn't say that but I think fauxcoat you rely a bit TOO much on astrology to paint this picture of doom and gloom that you supposedly see occurring in your future. It's like a self-fulfilling prophecy when you see it that way. You need to get away from astrology for a bit and try to get in tune with yourself on a FEELING level. Don't focus so much on your weaknesses, celebrate your strengths instead. Life is tough for everyone in their own way.

It's just part of that eighth house dynamic. It is a psychological one that requires some soul searching and to figure out how to be happy in life.

Well, no one is really answering my astrological question about the sun/moon conjunction and one degree Jupiter in 4th house.

Well from what I can see, Jupiter trines your Sun, Moon and Mercury and also forms a grand trine with your AC and those planets. So there is a lot of ease there to balance any tensions. And with Jupiter having expansive, benevolent qualities surely this would enhance these aspects.

A link to Jupiter in 4th house meaning which might make you feel a bit more positive, especially as you are desiring a family, nice house, etc.

Jupiter is on good terms with your eight house sun and moon. It trines them. You have a lot of happiness from your fourth to your eight because of Jupiter and neither your sun or moon are terribly afflicted, just conjunct. Mercury is also conjunct so you could have a difficult time seeing situations objectively from time to time with Mercury with the moon.
You have quintiles from Neptune which are lovely, too. Very idealistic.
I think the main thing is all that energy in the eighth house of your chart. Maybe you could be prone to depression and this would be your unhappiness. It can be treated.

SSS I couldn't copy paste yr msg. My childhood was bad. Saturn n Pluto in the fourth house. Abusive childhood. But now my life is not all that bad. But then I make a conscious effort to stay happy. I stay positive, Try different things , learn new stuff. Also I hang out only with positive happy people. We r entitled to our share of happiness. Nobody should give up on happiness. And love.

Thank you. It depresses me that if I supposedly have good luck from 4-8 house, then why am I not seeing any results? I am in my late 30's and have no marriage prospects or kids or a great job (would job be connected to 6th house?) on top of the fact that I have huge family tensions. I'm not really reaping the rewards of any of the 4-8 houses. So, something isn't working. Something isn't right. It is almost like something is cancelling out any potential happiness/benefits for me and my chart is just one big blank circle. The only thing I feel in life is the heaviness of the 8th house and poor 3rd house aspects, which is why I asked about my low degree Jupiter.

It seems like with patience and all the Libra emphasis you won't be alone forever. You will find someone. Libras tend to find a partner.

It's the Jupiter which is the key here I think. One planet can have a powerful effect on all the rest if in positive aspect, regardless of whether it's out there all on its own. It's like the life belt that saves you.
