I can't read him. He's very guarded and shy. He also has Scorp mercury and venus. He is more communicative via text but face to face he hardly makes eye contact and if he does it's only for a moment
Will he let his guard down? How will I know if he likes me? He contacts me daily via text and has complimented me but has been rather shy in person
He hugged me one night and not the next.

One of my good friends is a scorp sun moon cancer and hes veryyyyy shy its ridiculous i honestly dont know anyone more shy than him and i told him that he is good looking and can get girls but he seems to like when girls go after him its wierd lol i do know the one girl he had things progressed very slow i dont think they are in to rushing or just to shy to make moves if you like him just keep pursuing im a scorp sun myself and we like when people dont give up on us lol IP: Logged |

With my Aries moon I have no issue being an initiator but my cancer placements and cap asc make me more traditional and think he should pursue meHaha oh boy I do like the mystery though and he seems like he is worth a wait Anyone else have experience or advice? What an enigma... IP: Logged |

And this is often an issue.His Scorpio Sun gives the impression of someone who is , at-least externally, reserved, pensive, deep and "fixed". His Sun disguises the more emotional, vulnerable and gentle sign of Cancer. On your side. You appear to him as nurturing, kind, attentive and supportive (Cancer Sun). Meanwhile your Sun is disguising the more tempestuous and fiery Moon in Aries. He def seems more like a cancer to me...I haven't really seen many "scorp" traits yet and I am always more arian like to people - no one ever guesses my sun sign lol Actually my ex bf (Cancer Sun, Taurus moon) always joked that I was the least cancer-like individual he'd ever met based on first impression
so I think it may actually be reversed.

Do you know the position of his Asc? If he comes across as agreeable and a "push over" , this is not characteristic of a Sun in Scorpio. Pay attention to the opinion he has about things; Does he shift his views on controversial topics by flip-flopping? This is not likely with Scorpio Sun. Is he more clued up in sexually/ psychologically related things? Scorpios, in my experience, tend to have a very "fixed" external demenour. Unlike me, who often gets into an argument and challenge my opponent on issues related to religion(Sag-Cap cusp Sun), the Scorpios I know will state their case in a sort of "this is final" manner. Scorpio Suns are also not afraid of emotional confrontations at all. Most seem to like it when people openly "oppose" them.

I don't know his Asc unfortunately He has sun mercury and venus in Scorpio, moon in cancer and mars in Aquarius I honestly think he's a cancer asc but that's just my guess/ feeling He does have fixed opinions it seems but he has a sweetness about him that lessens the intensity I've noticed in other Scorpios I have a Scorpio rising/sun friend who is the most fixed and intense person I know and I have a Scorpio rising/Gemini brother with a cancer moon who still seems more intense than this guy with a Scorpio stellium so maybe I haven't gotten to the core yet? He doesn't seem surprised or impressed by anything I've told him though - he's just "cool" about everything, reacting very much cooly about everything which I do identify as a Scorpio trait IP: Logged |

He's vulgar and smokes and stands in dark corners at the bar lol but he's also the type to remember things and check on you He has sun in Scorpio
Moon in cancer
Mercury in Scorpio (rx)
Venus in Scorpio (rx)
Mars in Aquarius
Jupiter in Pisces
Saturn and
Uranus in Sagittarius
Neptune in Capricorn

Don't think I'll ever get over my Scorp Sun Cancer moon guy...sob sob. But yeah I found him to be really mysterious and even though he was confident he was really shy/insecure about making a move.
He did eventually...in his own good time. Btw it took me years to be able to read him.

I always think you can tell a scorpio's interest through their eyes... See if he gives you any intense looks (kind of like a predator), or if he follows you with his eyes. Looks at you when he thinks you aren't watching. That kind of thing.IP: Logged |

Ahh yes, now it makes sense,Jupiter in Pisces. This,together with Moon in Cancer-Neptune in Capricorn opposition can create the "sweetness" you speaking of. But with Pluto, Venus , Mercury and Sun in Scorpio-I wouldn't be so sure that his sweetness may boarder on decadence, there is still too much fiery water to go around. I wonder if his Moon forms aspects with Jupiter and also aspecting one the Scorpio stellium planets? Because that is a grand trine in water(one of the sweetest aspects in the natal chart). Well my heart broke but it wasn't just him. Just as we were getting somewhere I had to move back home. Back home is thousands of miles away from him.
