do you really feel are almost competing with your traditional aspects in influence.btw I feel quincunxs are not really minor, they are soo noticeable in most charts I see. Those attention grabbing green doted lines are really suitable. Like my mom has Moon quincunx venus and that totally describes her relationship with her mother and relationship with other females. Which is bitter sweet. IP: Logged |

I agree with you on quincunx's, they are really obvious with the people I know who have them. It's definitely an unmistakable energy. I have Moon sesquiquadrate Sun, it really makes up a big part of my personality. When I read up on the aspect it was definitely one of those 'wow' moments. IP: Logged |

It is followed up by:"Those Inconjunct Quincunx Transits." I absolutely LOVE Sakoian & Acker. Another one is: "Major and Minor Approaching and Departing Aspects." Those guys Rocked! I pick up anything they wrote, as a matter of course. IP: Logged |

I have like no semisextiles. They are soft aspects? What do they feel like? I guess like a sextile My fav minor aspects are venus semisquare mars and Venus Sesquiquadrates neptune. Which are essentially like squares.

Sesquiquadrates are kinda weird aspects imo, like quincunx's. I wouldn't really associate either with a square, to me they both embody Virgo-like energy. As far as I understand it the quincunx is more about compartmentalization whereas the sesquiquadrate is more about self-analysis. To me squares basically represent action and energy, it's the rock and the hard place that drives people to express and move about, for that reason I don't usually see them as negative - just very active. /rantIP: Logged |

good points I never really saw squares as a negative. Only people no squares assume they they negative but I know people plenty of squares and they are just really out there not really dysfunctional as such. IP: Logged |

Agreed, the only time I ever really see them become "negative" so to speak is when they form a greater aspect pattern, like a grand cross or a t-square, but ultimately even those usually produce some really nice results! They often drive people to achieve great success. IP: Logged |

quintiles can be very subtle but I love them and I find them to be a large part of what makes me "me", considering I have 6 quintiles, 8 if you count BML.I definitely think the quincunx are not minor at all in influence lmao. I think they are harder to identify in a person because its like a cognitive dissonance aspect, and sometimes it seems to be even harder for the native to notice it in themselves because i see it manifest often as some sort of repressed energy but to other people it becomes very noticable. Not really sure how to describe the feeling of a semisextile...I have a lot of them, especially with my Sun and outer planets, IP: Logged |

i have a one degree semisextile between Venus in Capricorn and Mars in Sagittarius.Anyone wants it? I am up for an exchange. I do not experience semisextiles as soft or harmonious, they are just different in element and mode. However they do not pose as visibly a challenge as a square, naturally, so in this instance they are certainly "softer". Does not mean easy though. In my case it is exaberated by Venus in 1st house being square Pluto, and Mars in 12th house conjunct Neptune. They are worlds apart from each other. IP: Logged |

i do feel them. i was surprised i had no venus-pluto in my chart but either it was playing out in other aspects or was feeling the sesquidrate. i have a nn quintile neptune and that does feel right too. moon-pluto quintile also doesn't feel wrong. it's like they are background instrumentals and music that i can't grasp but permeate more. the quincunx of mercury-uranus stands out more starkly for me even though i don't understand it. probably because of that quincunx i don't understand it too.
