And I thought about the similarities between the months and the zodiac. Especially the 8th house. Th house of death and rebirth. And how in the 8th month the leaves die, and fall to the ground. And the creatures all disappear. And how this suits the understanding of the 8th house.

I've moved house today. I feel so odd :S

We always get hit by tornadoes in the 4th month....does that mean family life in my area is really tragic?

was thining about how your rising sign dictates your life. Not because of the sign itself. But because it is the way to read your entire personality. I always thought I was inclined toward spirituality because of my scorpio rising. But looking into it, Scorp Rising people are inclined toward such thing because they should have Cancer in the 9th house of religion. Giving them an emotional attachment to religious ideas.

Im a scorpio rising, scorpio pluto, and my sun is in the 8th house. I feel like im constantly destroying and restoring myself from my ashes. I just went through a very dark part of my life. Something makes me feel like this wont be the last time either....but morality and religion have has the most prominence with me, love and intensity.

Same Scorp rising with sun and mercury in 8th. Saturn Uranus in 1st. I know what you mean, I've been an addict, violent, crazy, I feel I'm over that. But now physical ailments, eye issues, mental troubles etc all seem to be plaguing e. I should go back to drinking, at least you have fun destroying yourself that way

Lol!! You right, but you kind of get used to them, in a way? I'm more scared of earthquakes than tornadoes!!
Tornadoes hit an area that's maybe a block wide, very worst are a mile wide....earth quakes take out many miles then they open up sink holes and keep shaking even after it seems to be over!
Ugh that would terrify me!!

But considering that tornadoes tear through families home, I'm sure it does affect our family stability...at least for some ppl!

We don't really get that kind of thing here lol. But it is terrifying. I live on the sea. would hate any tsunami or earth tremor thing to happen. Apparently 1st degree Sag indicates natural disasters in mundane astrological charts,

I like Earthquakes.

They are Exciting.

Like Mind-Blowing Sex.

Which part of Tornado Alley do you reside? I'm kinda a bi state. I live North Texas & stay in Oklahoma.

I used to date a storm chaser they would drive into the storms and sit there as the tornadoes came to them. Insanity!

I forgot to mention pluto in first housr. Im a very scorpionic gemini. I can relate to addiction, and all of that but in a different way Im sure. I can understand the mental troubles, but thats something you can overcome. The lesson ive learned is letting go and giving rise to a higher enlightenment. Rising from your ashes. Just like the story of Hercules and the Hydra that he fought. Everytime he cut a head off, 2 grew back. You should look the story up and how it relates to prominent scorpios. As far as whats strongest in my chart....i have no idea, im sure they all play a strong role. I hate the desire of pride and power though...ive learned that giving rise to other ppl really makes me strong though, but idk that may have to do more with my North node in Aquarius, but im not for sure.

hahaha it's soo funny you refer to that story. I ALWAYS refer to that story. That is the story of the 8th house, Scorpio, "we rise by kneeling, we conquer by surrendering." It resonates so much with me also.

I don't mean any disrespect to those affected by hurricanes (sux to be them - i guess) - but doing the aftermath - does sound hilarious. I remember Robin Williams - joking about this in one of his comedy stand-ups: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gy-cVEhfb7U Still cracks me up!

Lol... They were a fun group of people but definitely a bit off!!
The guy I dated who drove into the tornadoes has his Venus on Algol, exact!! Love for danger!!! Lol
He's a taurus Sun/ Venus/ Merc/Saturn....Saturn is 1.5 degree off his IC!! With a saggy Moon, Lol! Poor guy!!!

But all those guys lived for danger! Lost 3 storm chasers, that had been on the show, last year during the big F5 we had here! It was so sad because it was a father n son team and they had been chasing together and/or studying tornadoes for 15+years!
Ro, the ex boyfriend, said they were so careful and safety conscience...everyone was in shock they were the last ppl you'd think would die in a tornado!
He said they were setting out pods to collect data and the tornado abruptly turned and they had no time to get out of it's away....the vehicle looked like it had been in a compactor! They were the 1st chasers, from his group of chasers, to be lost in a tornado related death in 15 years! They are crazy but usually very smart and safe!

Haha, yeah. It's a great story. I love reading it and it teaches a lot. That's crazy that you have read it too lol. It's so true, and it also happens to help my NN Aqua lesson out in the process. I guess Scorpio risings think a lot, bc my best friend is a Cancer sun, scorp rising and he said he thinks a lot. I'm a Gemini and they think a lot as it is, but my other signs just enhance it so much, my mind runs 24/7.
