Do the Libras you know have placements at around 10-13 degrees? Or do the other cardinal signs you know have later/earlier degrees? That might be your answer.

All of the cardinal mess has at least passed your Sun placement, so I wouldn't think you would be feeling that... But if you have other cardinal placements (like I do) you might be feeling the effects of those. Or maybe you just know a lot of Libras who are in the middle degrees?

Pretty accurate. Capricorn is like the embodiment of the MC, the highest point in the chart. For us, to not have outward success or a life worth putting on display is not just discouraging like it is to other signs; it's more like an existential failure. We were designed to excel in 10th house matters and falling short of that...slipping down from that high point...feels like we are losing ourselves.

We do take relationships seriously but I've never known any Caps personally who turned to substance abuse when they were heartbroken. In fact, I quit smoking when I lost my ex-soulmate, resolving that I needed to make a better life for myself, now that a major source of my happiness was gone.

A lot of times we try and convert our failures to successes. I've noticed Capricorn authors tend to be self-deprecating, actually capitalizing on their lowest moments by joking about them and selling the stories. It's not just opportunism. More like an attempt at alchemy, changing failure into success, and not for money so much as the need for self-redemption.

Ummm idk maybe Caps are just the most honest about our unhappiness and downfalls... Plus Caps tend to grow into our maturity vs. Libras or Cancers who will put on a happy face and rush into "stability" that may or may not fall apart later

The Pluto-Uranus square has been brutal for everyone, but in theory Pluto is in Cap and at least Uranus brings the unexpected both good and bad whereas Pluto is just dark and morbid and will make you question your sanity before any "transformation" takes place

And personally since these cardinal transits started I've seen an Aries friend spiral into really bad drug addiction, give up on things completely, talking about suicide, etc... An Aries in my extended family got divorced and basically lost his sh*t for a while, started stalking the ex wife and all that... All from personal experience of course. So I don't think it's reasonable to generalize by Sun sign
