It could be a lot of things. Is this person staying in your mind because they are intelligent? Mercury synastry, perhaps. Are they beautiful and does their Venus fall into your first house? Maybe it's that. Or are you just in love with them? Then look at all the love indicators.I think the quality of your thoughts towards them reflects the astrology involved. Also, of course, look at Saturn. ------------------

Pluto/Moon, Sun hard aspect Sun maybe, personal planets on you Sun/Moon mp, and water house!! aka 4th,8th and 12th  And i agree with Faith IP: Logged |

The two guys who have staying in my mind have Chiron conjunct my Chiron. Both of their's was in their 12th and mine is in 5th. IP: Logged |

People who make strong aspects to your chart, in general, tend to stay in your mind.Aspects to the Vertex Axis from others is particularly potent for this. IP: Logged |

In my experience it's been powerful conjunctions. e.g. their venus and mars conjunct my mercury, their venus and mars conjunct my descendent, their sun and mercury conjunct my mercury.Or if they have a few planets in my 8th house. IP: Logged |

Pluto and Neptune can do that.I fell in love before I met him.He new nothing of me and I couldn't stop thinking of him.We have no prominent Nodal conjunctions or planet conjunctions.The only conjunctions we have are my neptune his moon and my NN/Mars his MC.Those aren't aspects people go gaga over.So if you have close trines and oppositions to those two planets,it'll be difficult to get that person out of your head.In my case anyway.IP: Logged |

^ Your NN is conjunct his MC from what I understand? This to me is quite prominent. Angles conjunct axis in synastry can be very powerful.Anyway, it's odd I wanted to start a similar thread then realized I had already asked the question as "people you just can't forget".. and anyway.. I've had a similar case, with me often having this person on my mind.
I think it mostly has to do with the nodes, though I couldn't really explain why. Especially nodes to angles and luminaries.
A bit of pluto and saturn also helps.
My DSC/Moon/Mercury tightly conjunct his NN, while his moon and venus square mine so I think this might be why. IP: Logged |
