if your 7th house ruler makes only tense aspects to your other planets, what does this mean? I can only guess it might mean unrealistic expectations about relationships? I am specifically wondering about Jupiter as the 7th house ruler in squares to mars, venus and the sun.

Wow...I like your theory!

I have Uranus in Scorpio ruling my 7H. It's the apex of a t-square with Saturn and Mercury. I've been wondering lately why it is that I feel so much pressure to speak well...feeling as if SO MUCH depends on what I say (ie, how I resolve that Saturn-Mercury opposition.) According to your idea, it might be because I feel like my relationships' survival depends on it: the worse I'm handling the t-square, the worse my 7H issues will be.

It's hard for me to grasp your situation without seeing your chart, and Jupiter is usually not so bad even when it forms squares, but perhaps you have huge expectations for partnerships, and it gets in the way of you being able to really express your love (?) Almost like you always feel like you are "settling"?

What's your guess about it?

This is actually a placement of someone I am interested in so I am not sure exactly how it would play out They have jupiter as a ruler of their 7th house, Jupiter is in near the end of the 6th house squaring sun, venus, and mars in the 10th house. I would guess that the type of relationships this person wants is of a mentor-student kind. Jupiter squaring so many planets conjunct the 10th house cusp would mean a tension between their love life and career. This is all I can think of.

Jupiter as the 7th house ruler in squares to mars, venus and the sun: I guess that relationships conflicts with EGO, SEX DRIVE, AND ROMANTIC ENERGY.

You have to see what houses are ruled by the SUN, VENUS, and MARS, to narrow what's causing the conflicts with relationships.

Afflicted 7th ruler generally means that you attract complicated people with issues, insecurities, etc for serious relationships.

I have my 7th house ruler involved in a T-Square with Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune. And it is RX also.

The good news is you have JUPITER over there looking out for you. I get the impression from the aspects you listed that you might expect too much from others.
Still it's best to be on guard because Jupiter, even though he's a good guy, can bring some trouble. Can bring blessings, too!
Tell me what sign Jupiter is in. I love seventh house rulers I find them fascinating.

LOL my 7th house jupiter squares..
Asc, Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus.

7th house ruler squares 5th house ruler...
Idk my 5th house ruler is domicile and dignified.
5th house is more about love and all the fun stuff.
7th house is more about marriage and other legal stuff, enemies

I have no interest in that, I can't see myself settling down.
I definitely would not get marriage or get into business partnerships with others..
Im way too independent and I don't want to share my life with anyone.
I hate lawyers and anything that has to do with rules too etc.

I don't think I have that many open enemies thanks to jupiter.
