I feel like Mars sign plays a part, too. I'm currently seeing a Venus in Scorpio guy, with a Mars in Sag, and he liked me when he saw me, but only when I told a mutual friend he was cute and word got back to him did he pursue me.He really opened up to me once he knew the feeling was mutual, that I wasn't playing games, and I was straightforward with him. Now he's very adamantly romantic... Intense, deep, intimate... I LOVE it. I feel like this Venus just wants to know that you are as in to it as they are. They're used to their intensity scaring people off, so they can be timid to step out from behind that "cool" veil and show their truly intense colors. Oh, and they will admire you if you're truthful and honest. Be sincere in everything you say. No disingenuine compliments, etc. they see through that **** like no other. Be yourself. IP: Logged |

Ok this guy has mars in Aquarius. He is also a cancer moon. So far he's consistent on contacting me and also about asking me out but he hasn't said "hey I like you" yet lol so it makes a woman wonder He is very shy and only reciprocates a hug.. Lol I haven't seen the intense part that people say venus in Scorpios have yet but I don't doubt it's there Thank you for your reply! IP: Logged |

With the airy Mars, there's going to be sensitivity, but it will be hidden behind a playful, aloof demeanor. He may come off as caring less than he actual does. He will be at odds, contradicted between being gung-ho for love, and hesitant at the same time. The cancer will add to this as well, as there's a definite period until they'll "open" up, at least from experience.It can be confusing, but often if you're are confused, so is he--at odds with himself. I have an air mercury and earthy mars, so I tend to over analyze/intellectualize everything, despite me feeling SO deeply and wanting to be vulnerable... He's being consistent and contacting you. It'll come down eventually, as long as he's not emotionally stunted/can't let go of the past. Them crabs and scorpions (in general) are like coconuts. Once the hard shell is gone, the sweet stuff is on the inside.  Be consistent and reliable. He'll learn to trust and open up to you. IP: Logged |

I've never known anyone with a moon in scoprio very well..I "know of" a guy with cancer sun, scorp moon but don't know him well enough

If the Venus in Scorpio person has a strong aspect with Jupiter or Mercury they will be more demonstrative of their affections and they will let you know easily how they feel.
The same if Venus falls in the 3rd, 11th, or 9th. On the other hand, if they have a strong aspect with Pluto or Saturn they will tend to hide and control their emotions. The same if Venus falls in the 10th, 12th, or 8th. IP: Logged |

I think Venus in Scorpio men would hide their feelings at first until they sense some kind of response to the little signs of affection they show you. My friend has this placement and sure enough, he kept his passionate feelings for his girlfriend at first. He showed interest, but it wasn't like out in the open like a Venus in Aries would do. He only showed his true affections once he started getting responses from her showing that the feeling is mutual. Once a Venus in Scorpio knows you share mutual feelings, then he will show you the real intensity of his love.IP: Logged |

Interesting...and I have definitely been holding back although I am flirty but I never text him first or initiate anything. I'm not comfortable doing so just yes.
