Scorpio Sun or a Scorpio heavy chart-
Because its taboo and a sexuality related thing.These people are usually not afraid of breaking societal rules when it comes to sex.Aries Sun or Aries heavy chart-Because they are just so bold and like the adrenaline rush of people screaming whilst they are on stage. Taurus Sun or Taurus heavy chart- Because they like to show off their physique.And because they can do "unspeakable" things with their butt. Capricorn Sun or Capricorn heavy chart-Because its a stepping stone to bigger things. Maybe they'll hook up with an exec? Libra Sun or Libra heavy chart-Because they like to be worshiped physically.And also because they like being surrounded by beauty Aquarius Sun or Aquarius heavy chart- Because it gives them an opportunity to live an exciting/unconventional life. Gemini Sun or Gemini heavy chart- Because they like to tease and like to drive people wild ; knowing also that they are going home with none. Virgo Sun or Virgo heavy chart- Because they want external validation of their beauty/sex appeal and will likely be very proficient and skilled at it. Oddly, I don't picture Leo/Leo heavy chart people doing this. They may think this type of industry "undignified". Sagittarius Sun/Sagittarius heavy chart people may have a lot of guilt feelings with morals/religion/ethics etc. So they are also unlikely to take part. Cancer/Cancer heavy chart people will think of Mom and what the family back home will say if they find out? Also, these people tend to not like being physically objectified.(Pity, coz many have such nice buns though lol) Pisces/Pisces heavy chart people may be lured into it, but its unlikely that it'll be something that they like doing. I know a lot of strippers...or I used to, anyway.One is an Aquarius with Taurus Asc, and either a Gemini or Cancer Moon. Another is a Scorpio Sun, not sure about the rest of her chart, and the other is a Sag Sun (also not sure of her chart). Those are the ones I can remember their Sun signs at least, anyway. I don't know if you can peg that with just the Sun, Moon, and Asc. I would think that aspects and house placements would count more. Now that I think back, I had a transexual friend who was a stripper, and she was a Virgo Sun. Oh...and another Sag Sun that I knew. IP: Logged |

well i posted this cause i was curious in being one, not as my full time job but just on the side for some extra cash (ud be surprised how many girls do this) anyways its rlly not a big deal nowadays. what is right or wrong anymore when it comes to sex besides cheating? heck, most celebrities who are respected weve seen topless nowadays and they still get respect for their music....anyways someone was spot on who posted hereim a cap sun (deff could lead me places lol, connections, career is all about who u know, true!!) libra moon (i always want my work environment to be beautiful, if im guna spend a lot of time there, hell yea, it instantly puts me in a better mood, nice strip clubs are gorrrrgeous) aries asc (not really the attention part but more that its fast money, im impatient to get where i want to go, i wanna invest the quick money into something else and keep building) venus scorpio (sex comes natural to me and i loveeee it, we all mammals here  ) but then i have my merc and mars in sag and yes MORALLLLLSSSS; this is the only thing that has held me back for so long, i dont want stripping to change my personality or have me regret it for the rest of my life. i want to keep somewhat of my innocence.....

Like pole dancing?The thing is are you good at dancing? My sister is a classically trained freaking ballerina and made sooo much money off the pole with her skills in vegas. Unless your some kind of large bootied goddess. Not being negative or mean but realistic that you probably wont make much cash if you skills are average?

Not that I'm thrilled or proud to say this but I did it after I left my husband and had no way to support my kids!I think it's less about your signs, because I met every kind!
I met more Virgos, Libras, Saggy, Gemini and Aqarious than anything!
Least I met was Cancer, Taurus, Cap and to shock everyone Scorpio!!
I think scorpio puts such a high value on their sexuality there is no way they will share it in such a crude manner!
You will hardly ever run into a scorpio male in there either unless they stalking someone or obsessively watching their girlfriend! Lol It's not about what it seems to be about, being sexual and pole tricks I s one thing....but that's only a very small part of what makes the money!
The hardest part of it is what makes the most money....and most ppl don't get it, it is your job to manipulate and scam men into believing you have feelings for them!
Very few guys go in there thinking, this is just for fun!
Most want to believe you really like them or else they won't give up any money....it's really hard if you have a conscience at all!
If you try to be totally straight and honest with guys...tell them , your don't go out with guys you meet in the club, you have a boyfriend, your only there to make a living not find your soulmate.....they don't want to spend time or money on you because they want the fantasy girl that will say, "oh ya...were going to go out and yes I want to be your girl! Here's my number call me!"
But most girls had seperate phones or gave out fake numbers! Then they are ducking out the back to avoid the guy because he thinks he's in love!
It's really cruel!
The prettiest girls were not always the biggest money makers...the biggest money makers were the ones who could disconnect the easiest and not feel guilty for lying!

Personally, I had a very hard time with it, but made really good money!
I have Masselina, Sirene, Lie and Swindle all on my Libra Venus in my 1st house! Without that, guilt would have eaten me alive, it did anyway but I think those asteroids helped me to cope!Would I suggest anyone do that?? H*LL NO!
I remember a bouncer telling me when I first started, he said, "this place is a living machine, it eats souls!"
And that is the truth!! Many nights I cried as I drove home, it hurt being treated like a piece of meat, nobody cared if you had a heart or personality and it hurt not being able to be honest and real because if you were nobody valued you enough to spend money.

Another friend of mine is a DJ at a strip club, and he absolutely loathes it there (interestingly, I think that's how he met his wife and the mother of his kids, but it's not like she does it anymore). He works at a reasonable place, not creepy...but apparently it's a lot the way Gabby's describing. I mean, it really depends on where you're dancing, I suppose. Most of the women I knew weren't dancing anywhere totally gross, but not Vegas-style, either. Just the normal, non-skeezy clubs in Seattle or Austin. Men who go their for affection know what they are doing, subconsciously.They are paying for affection, escapism or sex so its all the same thing..
Your providing them with a service yeah its pretty sad and pathetic but oh well. If you want to work at a higher end club you need skills as well as looks, but the lower clubs are the ones you want to avoid. I don't really buy uranus....Come on now

Very true, I always worked in clean/high class(if that possible to say) places.
Even then the drugs were verywhere, girls that are high could care less what guys do them so then the guy asks you to sit or do a dance and the whole time your having to ask him to quit trying to touch you, grab you, lick you, and pull your hair because the last girl let him do it....and their response to your telling to stop is, "oh...you know you like it!" If I could have stuck my stiletto in his eye it would have been the happiest moment of life! Lol
I'm not normally violent but it seriously it hurts, breaks your heart! What's funny is you see these girls and think they are so beautiful and perfect but in the light of day, it's shocking! When some walk into the dressing room they look homely and some look homeless, some had bruises from their "boyfriends" hitting them...but it's amazing what extensions, makeup, eye lashes and a fake tan can do for a girl!
They walk out looking like a million bucks!
If anyone thinks this easy money...no, it's about the hardest job possible! Plus....the girls are just as hard if not harder to deal with than the guys! IP: Logged |

I don't regret it, but I don't miss it either! I learned to stand up for myself, I learned I had a voice and how to use it, I learned boundaries and how to enforce them and I learned how to be a b*tch if I needed to be!
I used the place to purge the anger of how much id been hurt by my life and finally started to refuse to be hurt anymore, I learned how to refuse to allow ppl to hurt me. if you don't stop it in an environment like that they will completely destroy you!
If you don't need to learn those things then your going end up getting hardened by it!
I was so soft, to soft...I was a doormat! I let ppl hurt me before, but in there I learned a balance because I was forced to protect myself or get ran into the ground everyday...but I think it's rare for that to be a beneficial environment for anyone!IP: Logged |

That's true, higher end clubs require "perfect" bodies and face...must be able to carry yourself well and dance!
They weighed some girls regularly at some clubs, if they thought she was gaining weight and had her on a diet they told you to go tan, change your hair color or fired girls if they got to many tattoos!
Management...omg, they were somewhere in between pimps and slum lords!

My boyfriends ex moved across the country and became a stripper when he left her. She claimed it was burlesque but depending on your definition of burlesque, I think not. I was mistaken for a stripper once... It was really uncomfortable because this guy kept insisting he knew me from some strip club. Refused to believe me when I said I didn't work as a stripper. I had one friend who was hired to work in a strip joint and she was all ready to do it, until her parents forbade it.She's a Virgo sun and at that time was at the head of her college class majoring in organic chemistry. On a full scholarship.  My ex-boyfriend was offered work making porn movies (he was buff) and he was willing, but other school responsibilities got in the way. He's a Virgo sun as well. IP: Logged |

I have a virgo moon, I met more virgo suns or moons than anything!! The virgin...??? Lol
Sadly they were also the ones that seemed to get hurt the most by it, because they do have a conscience and care! If someone was crying in the back, usually it was a pisces or virgo!
