This is to continue the conversation from the other post...

Thank you for your help Asc. I don't notice intimacy as much of a problem as the fact that sun/moon/mars/mercury/pluto/virgo are all in there. Maybe it is good that virgo is on the cusp otherwise I may have been too over the top in regard to the 8th house intimacy factors, lol.

I find I have a lot of relationship problems with my family as well as romantic relationships. My Saturn is also in the 7th house. It keeps getting worse and worse as I tell you more and more, lol. Sun and moon are in 8th and I also have a chiron (which is retrograde) in the 3rd house and it apparently has a bad aspect so that means problems with siblings and other people. Ug. It is almost like my chart is designed for me to meditate in seclusion for life, rather than be around people. The thing is, growing up I had a lot of friends; I got along with people very well. I think I still do but I feel more friction towards me now that I am an adult. The friction towards me started after the death of a sibling (8th house issues) and my life went in downward spiral. This friction towards me makes me want to be more secluded because I don't understand it and I don't want it (the friction).

Hmmm. Do you mind posting your chart?

I know, theoretically that 8th house in Virgo is supposed to mean what I said. But real life experience from people with that position is far more telling.

I'm sure other issues will be highlighted there too.

That is why it can be so easy to make assumptions when you read sign house cusps. This is much better.

Firstly, you have a lot of planets in the sign of Libra. You see and identify a lot with another person's point of view and one-on-one relationships are very important.

It is not unusual for someone who has a concentration of Libra planets to experience challenging relationships with their partners, with colleagues, with friends etc.

Your Sun and Moon are conjunct in Libra- making your personality very much invested in one-on-one communication. Relationships provides a center to express yourself(Sun) as well as emotional base for your well-being(Moon).

Venus in Libra wants harmony and peace. A fair exchange between partners and general well-being in relationships.

But Mars will not make this so. In fact, contrary to popular belief, Mars in Libra, does not mean one keeps the peace, but that one find themselves in relationships where physical outbursts, stormy arguments, walking out of a disagreement and a generally passionate response to an unwelcome suggestion are commonplace(Mars).

Its almost as if Mars in Libra can sense the tension that is coming and avoids it by being passive.

The result, of course, is not always favourable; as it makes the other party that much more enraged that you are not "reacting", that you seem calm and not taking this "seriously". It gives the other person the impression that you just don't care or are simply apathetic to them.

In fact, it seems that Mars in Libra , instinctively, attracts volatile partners or those whom are more passionate and expressive of their opinions.

This volatility is further compounded by Mars in Pluto in Libra. Not only do tempers flare, lines are drawn, people stop communicating with each other and there are "cut offs" done by those who feel enraged by the other party.

You will always draw these experiences to you and your partners/relationships will always be very volatile, tempestuous and very "involving";definitely not for the faint-hearted.

Jupiter in Gemini gives a soft spot for siblings and I am very sorry for your loss. Jupiter in Gemini finds kinship with cousins, close aunts , uncles and siblings too.

With all these Libra planets and Mercury in Virgo in the 8th house, I have to revisit what I asked you;

Do you find yourself trying to deal with these relationship dramas by being intellectual reasoning, thinking things through, looking for rational solutions and expressing little external emotion?

Do you feel that you have to keep it together and act rationally when these things happen ; especially when there are divisions?

My advice is that you should be learn to be a little more independent .Because so much of yourself is affected by discord(Moon and Sun in Libra), that this can translate to physical illness/disease(Virgo in 8th).

When relationships are troublesome and get too heated for you to handle, think for your own well-being first by simply absolving yourself from any further "peace-keeping mission.

State your position with reason and tact and stick with it. There will be those who disagree with you; especially those that affect you emotionally. But do not bend to their approval.

In such situations you can try and gain support from an external party and evaluate the situation there, but when with your close relationships, don't always try to play the "diplomat". You may suffer very much as a result.

I know this is easier said that done , but take what makes sense and leave the rest if its irrelevant.

Yes, I definitely get the feeling that people get mad at me for not reacting. I don't want to fight so I avoid people that are aggravating. I don't treat them that way and if they have any issue with me, they can try to talk to me, not treat me like dirt in a passive aggressive way.

It is interesting that you say Jupiter in Gemini gives me a nice rapport with siblings, aunts, uncles, etc. I have a lot of problems with my family due to chiron in 3rd house poorly aspected. Maybe it is also because Jupiter is retrograde in my chart. Whatever it is, there is no good family relationship. For someone who has Jupiter in 4th - nothing is going well regarding the 4th house issues. Jupiter is the only thing I have going for me and my family life is horrible. I think I may be cursed.

I honestly cannot explain it as it makes little sense to me.

There is nothing I can see from your chart that would suggest a "cursed" family life.

But, as I said, there are difficulties to be found in one-on-one relationships.

Jupiter in Gemini suggests that siblings, short journeys, socializing with neighbours are a way for one to "expand" . This is what one may enjoy.

This placement can make one a person who enthusiastically makes friends very easily and find its effortless to converse with other on anything.

Your family life can be "horrible" because of the relationship dynamics that have their ups and downs. It's not forever.

Peace, love and oneness to you.
