So, my past year and a half has been quite eventfull. Broke off a relationship/ engagement of 5 yrs, made a whole lot of new friends, new job, basically an entire new life. I enjoyed being single for a year and now I realised I am ready for a new relationship. My past 3 love interest have been realy flakey and now I see I have pluto square my natal venus for the next 2 years + someone told me I'll have uranus conjuct my venus too. Can someone check if this is true? And will I survive this transit? My birthdate is May 15, 1985 at 5:50 am in Brussels Belgium. Thanks!IP: Logged |

Hi, Saraharas, Welcome to LL. Yes, your Venus is already conjunct Uranus and square Pluto, and it will remain that way until next year (February or so).
Expect more of what you have now. There's potential for intense, but probably short-lived affairs. Venus is your ASC ruler so it's very significant for you. You may change your look or personality during this time as well. From astro.com: quote: Desire for loveValid during many months: During this time relationships become a source of challenge and even difficulty, which may point the way for changes that you have to make within yourself. Certainly there will be some significant change in your relationships; an old love relationship may be transformed in some way, or a significant new one may come along. But you will have to deal with several problems at this time. First of all you have a very strong desire for love now, which you express with urgency and compulsion. But in your haste you may latch on to the first person available and not wait for someone who is good for you. Also you may become so intensely fascinated by that person that you do not see him or her clearly. The problem is that you are under the influence of unconscious drives that are not operating according to your best interests. For example, if you are married or in a long-term relationship, even happily, you might suddenly become fascinated by another man, which could disrupt your stable relationship. But avoid the temptation to go with the other person, for this relationship will probably not be long lasting. Wait until this influence is well over before making a commitment to any relationship that comes to you now. Such a relationship is inherently unstable, at least for now. But an extracurricular affair is not the only challenge to an existing relationship. Strains and stresses that have existed for some time in your love relationships may come to the surface now. Jealousy, possessiveness, unwillingness to grant the partner freedom to be himself - all these may become sources of tension within your relationship. You may be either the perpetrator or the victim of these problems. The best procedure is to deal with these strains and try to communicate honestly about them, even if you feel that what lies at the bottom of the problem is too awful to be discussed. This influence brings both the necessity and the opportunity to completely transform your relationships. A bad one may end, but a good one will become deeper and more profound.

My husband has this transit as well. We've always been unpredictable so Uranus won't really surprise us if we break up lolIP: Logged |

Please, y'll come back and share how these two transits affected you, as I am going to have exactly that in the next year and more. TR Pluto will square my Venus, while Uranus will oppose it.IP: Logged |

thanks everyone for sharing, I am mostely interested in the combination of these two together, it sounds like a double whammy :sSo far: this guy who I know was interested in me but didnt interest me one bit suddenly became super attractive and fascinating to me. My libido has gone up and I feel like experimenting. This guy happens to be into BDSM (these are all cliché's concerning pluto square venus) He is polyamourus, something I would never ever consider (im a jealous taurus lol) but now am willing to maybe give it a chance. My life has become fast paced and my social life has gone from 5% to 110%. I can be obsessive about the guys I like, but I think I've always been a bit like that, only now it annoys me because there's no more room for important stuff in my head. If anything changes I'll update IP: Logged |
