Interesting article. It made me think. There are 12 notes and 12 signs, but there is no way to reconcile music to astrology. There are six signs each for masculine and feminine signs. That means that six notes must be able to be melded in a way that sounds harmonic. You could make a chord that didn't sound altogether terrible with six notes, but there would be some discord (it would be something like all but one of the white keys in a scale versus all the black keys plus one white). There would be a lot more discord suggested by that chord than astrology suggests is between say all the Water and Earth [feminine] signs.
Both systems are mathematical. It's just two different systems of harmony.
Even if you use the chords given on that chart, it doesn't make sense that Capricorn and Virgo have both sets of chords able to operate in the same scale (generally harmonic) while Taurus operates in a totally different scale (That is dis-harmonic to both the Capricorn and the Virgo chords). [Capricorn and Virgo] work together in the same exact way that [Leo and Taurus] work together. Those would be equal sets of chord pairings...but obviously not equal sign pairings (A same-element Cardinal and Mutable versus two Fixed signs of different elements). That doesn't make sense.
