Do you think Countries zodiac signs suggest what signs would be popular?

Watch this video, it's really interesting. Especially when they talk about personality.

Seems rather air friendly society= It's all about civility and social respect.

I don't think scorpio traits would be too popular in Japan.

America is a water sign so I guess it makes sense why scorpio is the rage.

Yeah I've always thought that places correlate with signs if you pay attention to the social norms...

Apparently Japan is an Aqua Sun..

I think relocation charts are really interesting too, can show if you'll jive with the culture or not... I loved living in Hawaii which has Leo Sun, Aries Moon. My relocation chart there turns my Asc to Aries, Sun conjunct MC. Honolulu is a Sag Moon. Makes so much sense lol

In Mundane astrology the Moon represents where the publics attention falls as well as the common people so I would assume that the Moon in a countries chart would probably show popular signs rather than a countries Sun, which rules people in positions of authority like the president, monarch, prime minister, etc. The US has its Sun in Cancer in the 7th so you could interpret that as the US trying to be a maternal or authoritative figure for other countries (7th house influence) which makes sense to me. The US does tend to stick its nose in other countries business for "their own good". The US has its Moon in Aquarius in the 3rd house which would show imo fixed attitudes towards media, communications, and news information. People would be drawn to the news and media as a source of information and give most of their attention to pop culture, also makes sense imo. In America culture it does seem that air and fire signs are the most popular, the cool kids so to speak, as they do positively aspect America's Moon. I'm not sure about how this could translate to other countries, I don't know much about foreign culture and haven't been anywhere other than the US.

Yeah I think it makes sense, a country's sign probably shows its norms and people who show similar traits would probably be popular.

I enjoy my time in cancer canada n aqua japan the best, although cancer oppose my sun n square my moon. Neptune on my moon though - this is where my dreams "come true" lol

The sun-saturn opposition in japan's chart may point to the conflict between traditional values n modern way of living (air sun-moon-uranus). The air trine - to me Japan seems impersonal, but inviting - venus conj my moon

I'd be curious about the synastry between France & Japan if anyone cares to look it up. It might be interesting to get an astrological viewpoint of Paris syndrome.

And btw, I just find it obvious in retrospect that Japan is Aquarius.

Everyone LOVES Japan it is well known for the people's love of presentation and way of doing things. It is very safe there. People have a certain culture that rarely deviates. Lots of art is exported. Low divorce rate. Prizes education. It's very Libran.

Oooo some more libra dickriding from SSS.
Too bad Japan is an Aqua sun, deal with it.
People love japan because of it's eccentricities

Aqua is the premier social justice sign.
Aquarians tend to have this idealistic utopian society.

Kero for real I have always read Japan is in fact a Libra sun since I was a kid reading astrology books at the (libra)ry. They all said the same thing and listed Japan as one of the countries ruled by Libra. This is the only place I have ever read something besides that.
I also bought a book called Sun Sign Makeovers. Japanese symmetrical faces and kabuki makeup are both pictured under make up for Libras.
Just look in Linda Mason's Sun Sign Makeovers.

I've always had wonderful encounters with Japanese tourists. When I was at the Grand Canyon I took my pet with me and the tourists from Japan would want their picture taken with him. They all thought he was the bee's knees! Not aloof or cold at all! Very nice and super sweet.
In fact I have never had a negative encounter from one Japanese tourist. They stand out for their openness and friendliness. They never seem nervous or out of place.
All the tourists I've ever seen from Japan are always so gracious and nice. No exaggeration. It's always something I have noticed in particular. You can count on them to be really nice.

Goodness.

The Japanese are indeed friendly, polite people who are always willing to help others.

But the country appears aloof when it comes to the world viewing them. Just like the nuclear disaster that happened in Japan, Japan was trying to appear calm because it's their culture to do so as not to cause panic. But America was really sticking its nose in asking "Why aren't you guys panicking?"

Japan - Aquarius sun, Cancer moon
USA - Cancer sun, Aquarius moon.

That's because they are guests..

It's important for guests to be gracious not like obnoxious American tourists. They aren't mean but they have strict social rules.
Getting involved in others issues is shameful for that person.

The thing is, Kero, most guests are not that polite and they are kinda nervous being so far from home. Japanese guests are not.

I read that the UK is Aries sun or something. I'm not sure I can see that or not. Maybe in history I suppose. Do you think countries could have a rising sign too? Coz I was just thinking about japan- the modern day culture is very aquarian dont you think, what with all the technology and colours but then there are strong libran traits aswell like was said above.

I'm 100 % sure that Germans are Aries Sun and Capricorn Moon. As for ASC, I would say Virgo.
I'm not talking about modern Germany, but of Germans as a people.

Do I think Countries zodiac signs suggest what signs would be popular? Not really.
