What compliments do you receive most often? Can you pinpoint where it comes from in your chart? You can state compliments on appearance, style or personality.For example the word that everyone uses when they try to compliment me is “gentle”. It’s always that word. Sometimes they use “cute” and in rarer cases “elegant”. They’re all traditionally feminine words, very Luna and Venusian words. I think the Sun-Moon-Venus conjunction gives me a ”cutesy” look despite it being in the sign of Scorpio. I never get “scorpionic” compliments like fierce, hot, sexy etc. When it comes to personality people often say “serious” and “calm” (they’re way off on that last one lol). I definitely say that’s the same conjunction forming a trine to Saturn. Maybe even Saturn square the Ascendant. How about you?

I've been called hot, fancy, classy, and sexy. I associate these compliments with my Venus in Virgo and Sun in Leo. I've read that this combination does give someone a classy and professional look. Plus, with my Venus, it gives me curves that make me look sexy in people's eyes (though I think I'm fat). I've also been called intelligent, youthful, funny, multi-talented and cute. This could be because of my Gemini ascendant (jack of all trades) and my domicile Mercury in Virgo in the third house. I've also been called different and punky before. This is because of my Sun opposing my Uranus which makes me want to stand out as someone unique and different from all other people.The sad thing is, people get intimidated by me sometimes because apparently I look mean and I look like a snob when I'm actually very friendly and outgoing. But those are pretty much the compliments I've been getting. ------------------

Those aren't the words I'd use to describe you, but I guess you know that already. 
I'd keep serious and calm (on the surface...), but add sexy, passionate, smart and compassionate in the mix.
What? I can see those qualities in you, bias or not, who cares. 
I used to get "serious" and "well-educated" a looot in the past. Cap MC + Saturn aspects, I guess. Smart and mature as well (yeah, I'm quite a deceiver, heh).
OL I usually get different stuff entirely. Sweet and kind mostly (Libra Venus/Jupiter). The other day a precious friend called me "such a special child" (she's older than me by quite a few years) and "a seeker" and that really made my day, lol (Sag NN).
But yeah mostly Libran stuff.
On rare occasions I get "strong" (Scorp?) and "funny" (Gem ASC?) (mainly from my BF who thinks the world of me, ahh bless her heart) IRL I get "easy-going" more than anything else (errm, dunno what that'd be in my chart), but not so much nowadays because I don't go out much, lol. IP: Logged |

Hmm at work n uni people often tell me they like that I'm "so soft-spoken" and "diligent" - saturn activity. People who buy the things I make tell me "You're very clever/good with your hands". Friends call me cheeky, they say it in a humorous way, often in response to my jokes or when I act silly - sag merc. I get the "beautiful" compliment a lot from one person, but that's because my venus/mars are on his venus/mars <grin> lololol IP: Logged |

Doux Rêve,I mostly get them from people who are getting to know me, more than acquaintances but not quite friends yet. Once friends, people usually don’t bother with compliments but I get them from people who know me as well. You’re actually the only person who deviates from the general perception. That’s not unexpected since our friendship is virtual. We’ve never interacted in person and I think that really counts. Although I think Skype calls give away some of the IRL vibe. I also got the Libran (friendly, graceful) vibe from you when we would talk on Skype. On LL, I sense a Mercurial vibe (intelligent, objective) on you. In our PM I definitely get the Cancer/Capricorn – Moon/Saturn feel from you (which I just now realized are you IC/MC omg).

Hey this is a fun thread! I'm playin! LOLBut don't kill me for not knowing WHY I get these compliments in comparison to my planets etc because my interest in all this has recently been resparked so I'm learning... but here goes... I have been told that photographs of me are sexy. No one has ever told me that to my face tho. I do hear that I'm pretty, I have pretty eyes and a pretty smile. Also that I'm funny and witty and deeply caring. And smart. So...I've got my sun in ole Sag, I have Venus in Scorpio...as well as Mars and Jupiter. My True Node is Aquarius and my Chiron is in Aries. My moon is in Leo. Kinda sounds like a song doesn't it...my suuuuuuun is in ole Sag while my moooooon is in Leooooooooo...hahaha. Oh, I've definitely noticed a trend in Leo Moons being very funny. And it's not just the sense of humor, it's their vibe. Sags are similar, I think the Sagittarius Sun/Leo Moon would make a very vital combination.IP: Logged |

From my boyfriends I have heard all kinds of compliments of course But the Virgo (my mars in virgo was conjunct his sun and venus in venus) gave the best compliments. Or let's say he was the most convincing when he complimented me I'm petite and people usually say I look cute, young and almost like a child or an anime character. Sometimes I try to look serious and sexy or even intimidating but I can't hide that Cancer Ascendant no matter what  And of course I smile all the time when I meet someone new, Libra venus probably. I wish I looked tougher like my scorpio sun and aries moon

I hear sexy/hottie from casual friends and some gal friends. I guess men use all these sexy
/hottie/sensual/seductive etc when they think they have a chance i guess. My best guy friend calls me 'rainbow gal' and another friend from school calls me 'sunshine girl'.i love these cuz these compliments suits my personality. I think ppl mostly compliment me about my body shape rather than about my face. Ppl tend to compliment me on my walk,that i am stylish and graceful etc... My Indian friends call me Dhamaka(bomb/blast cuz of my temper i guess lol), Bindass,Umrao Jaan ,etc...
Sad part is nobody from my family has complimented me ever. Not even once. But yeah my cousins say i look attractive. Infact when i was a kid i been called Ugly by my siblings/aunts/uncles many many times. N even my brother had asked my mom when i was 14 why i was not good looking yet? Now i dont think astrology can answer that!

I get a lot of compliments on my face shape and facial features. I've been described as fierce and intimidating appearance wise. I also get a ton of compliments on my smile.
I believe this would be associated with my fire ascendant and sun sign, and also the aspects to my ascendant. I have many.Personality wise, I've been called articulate, poetic, insightful, caring, passionate. People say they expected me to be bitchy but that they can trust and confide in me. Probably my sense of fashion. I dress more like my Venus sign (aqua Venus) and I like experimenting with jewellery different materials and colours. I'm also into the unusual, like different cultures, I wear kaftans in the summer and crochet tops. IP: Logged |

This one time a guy said I'm mommy material after a 10 min conversation. It was so strange, because he didn't even say it to me but to my friend. I was only 20 at the time too, and pretty drunk. So cute and pretty. Sexy and hot. My height because I'm a smurf. My hair and the style, color sometimes too. My eyelashes. My butt because it's amazing. My nails. My eyes a lot always told how beautiful they are. You don't look like your parents at all lol. My style. My look. How funny and crazy I am. My bubblyness and happiness! I think most of it has a lot to do with all of the Libra in my chart obviously lol. My overlook is all Libra but my style I'd say more my Venus. I don't look like my parents at all seriously every friend that's met them, strangers have all said I look like my nana/grandma. Which is funny because she's a Gemini and I have zero in my chart. The compliments I receive most are I get told that I look like a sweet or ”wholesome” person. Once in awhile I will get told I have great hair but thats about it. Rarely if ever do I get told I am sexy or hot. Must be all the Cancer placements that make me seem that way.IP: Logged |

I get told how sweet and kind I am because I usually am. I'll lend a hand to strangers, etc. Sex appeal. It's like there's some kind of light coming off me. People just get this look like they want to rape me.

My hair lol. It's long, wild, naturally blond and curly. I don't know why I got this crazy hair, but I don't seriously think I have met a person who didn't compliment my hair if they got the chance!
I love my hair too, I think it has really done some good things in my life lol… people compliment my eyes too, and my face. People often say I look like a doll, or some actress from an old-school movie. I love those compliments! I love them more than people saying "why do you look so sad" or "girls like you should smile a lot more" lol… My natural relaxed face apparently looks depressive. Cancer ascendant 17 degrees. Aw I think this thread is nice, it's making me think about the compliments I have received, as opposed to the insults which I usually dwell on.
People say I have "amazing eyes" haha the best one was my friend who said that staring into my eyes was like staring at the ocean.
I guess this would be due to Neptune on Ascendant or Moon square Neptune or my Scorpio Sun.
One of my friends told me I was powerful, I rather enjoyed that comment
I have also been told I am smart/intelligent (Mercury conjunct Mars probably helps there), talented, good/hard worker (probably due to Saturn on Ascendant in Capricorn, also b/c Scorpio Sun, Pluto widely conjunct MC/Sun, and all those damn perfectionistic Libra planets).
Another friend told me she appreciated my emotional depth.Also been told I am intimidating, which I both secretly like and find insulting, hah.
