As a Taurus Sun, this suggests someone who has a good amount of common sense , practicality and shrewd reasoning about them. But they are also not made of stone and their physical passions run deep; wanting someone to love and be loved is a goal for many Taurus Suns(as many people too).
The only pertinent difference between others and the Taurean is,few are likely to be as loyal and long-suffering.Not to mention physically appreciative of the ones that they love.
When a Taurean has fallen in-love, it can linger for years and it can take a catastrophic event to make that feeling go completely off.
Having Venus in Aries suggests someone who is able to call a spade a spade. As much as they may dote on someone, they are not likely to stick around should they feel the feelings are not reciprocated.
But, with the Moon in Pisces, its not always so easy for one to just walk away from a rejection.
Pisces can, like Taurus, tenaciously hang on to an ideal for a long period. Whilst Taurus may get a dose of reality knocked upside their head, Pisces may get the same knock and be indifferent.
Mars in Leo doesn't suggest this vulnerability is there though ; being a brazen flirt and loving to entertain advances for the joy of it can mask it. One can never quite tell when your are serious and when you are just "playing".
He, on the other hand, has the Sun in Cancer; which makes him made of sensitive stuff, the stuff that will pull out your heart and twist it till you hold him in your arms and promise never to let go.
This is dosed down a good deal by a hard inner shell that betrays the sweetness that is outside: He is not as clueless and gooey as he may seem. He definitely can take care of himself and can certainly outlast many.
But this does not mean that he is not romantic. He is just not that fuzzy about it. He may suffer great rejection and pain in love, but his tenacity keeps him focused on the idea that even if he doesn't meet the "one", he is fine with meeting someone who can stand him.
The Venus in Cancer hardly flirts or puts itself "out there"; rather preferring to pursue its object of desire in a sly, understated manner. He is so protective of himself that he will not let his feelings show.
Obviously , when he feels that there is no way that he can "lose" with you, he can certainly turn up the speed of courting and be so forward that even a Venus in Aries will be looking over their shoulder and wondering who stole their thunder?
This is the contradiction of Cancer; shy and reticent , then bold and daring. A move from one to the other.
And he also has his Mars in Leo which makes it hard to tell if he is like that only to you, or to everyone else?
I think you should proceed with caution. He is able to look at love from a more "practical" perspective than be "consumed" by it (per se). And your Moon in Pisces can have a long recovery period if it doesn't work out.
I know this will be hard for a Venus in Aries woman to do but try and let him come to you.
