I met a new person and I think they like me and I kind of like them too but I have no idea how to talk to them. We kind of talk when we see each other but it is all small talk because we are both very shy.
I don't want a synastry reading or anything that is why I didn't post the charts I was just wondering how 1) I can tell if they like me, 2) how to or what to talk to them about?

They have:
Sun - Cancer
Moon - Capricorn
Mercury - Cancer
Venus - Virgo
Mars - Gemini

I have:
Sun - Cancer
Moon - Taurus
Mercury - Cancer
Venus - Cancer
Mars - Taurus

This is interesting because his Mars is in Gemini. I would almost think he would be prompted to chat you up and feel you out if he were interested. Maybe his Cancer sun/mercury is hindering this a bit. I would try to appeal to his Venus in Virgo--interested in a woman of keen intelligence, simple, understated yet clean and well put together. My ex has many of these same placements as your prospect. Except he had Mercury in Leo and Mars in Virgo because he pursued me and his tenacity- must be the virgo thing caught my attention (Gem Sun,Libra Rising, Sag Moon) and kept me. My first real love...the shattering kind. You're going to have to pursue him, I think. Not too strong but invite him out and gain his interest that way.

Your two charts are very complimentary, lots of earth and water signs!
Both are Cancer suns and you have more going on in Cancer. He has a Capricorn moon while yours is in Taurus, both earth signs but Capricorn moons aren't quite like Taurus. This could work out because your moon will compensate, filling in the gap. A good combination.

The Gemini Mars will enjoy a good conversation. Do a lot of talking. Cancers are pretty easy to get close to. You shouldn't have any problem there since you are one yourself and Venus is there, also.
Venus in Virgo can do a lot of communicating as well. I'd say your best bet is to be friendly and talkative with this person. Perhaps you can write lovely letters to him first?
