What is the aspect and placement of people who often get fooled by others?
People who is somehow a bit too naive, and is thinking the best but constantly gets disappointed by the behavior of other people, even though it was probably their own fault that they were getting fooled - simply because they just cannot see through other peoples real motives…And what makes people actually capably of seeing through other peoples motives? And spotting truly reliable and trustworthy people?

Sun square Neptune. I have that, but I usually see right through everyone. Then, every once in a while I just forget to pay attention. And then it happens.IP: Logged |

Ketu in the 6th house. This is a BIG indicator of someone who easily gets fooled by others. The reason is that (barring other influences in the chart) a person with Ketu in the 6th is an inherantly good person. They are TOO good. They are So good that they have a hard time even imagining causing harm to others as they get absolutely no pleasure from it whatsoever. A person who cannot even so much as imagine these bad things, can't imagine someone else wanting to do these bad things either! Therefore they are unprepared and unequipped for the evils of the world and they tend to fall for false friends etc. (for western astrology ketu is equivalent to the South Node... the house systems in Western astrology are different though)Rahu in the 6th (NN in the 6th) gives the opposite effect. This person may or may not be a good person (depends on the rest of their chart) but they are not TOO good. It doesn't mean they do bad things at all, but they CAN imagine doing them and they can imagine on at least a certain level how someone can obtain pleasure from causing pain. So they are very well prepared to deal with enemies and are very good at spotting the real enemy despite any that may be in sheeps' clothing. IP: Logged |

When I looked up Neptune opposite Ascendant, it came up with a similar description as your question. So I'd say that, but I have this and I can be pretty good at reading people actually. I think Neptune is intuitive but unwilling to see the truth clearly sometimes. IP: Logged |

Seeing through other's motives sounds Pluto and Scorpio, Mercury, too. Mercury and a strong, solid moon is a good antidote for being taken in.
What makes people easy to fool? Moon afflicted by Neptune and Jupiter. Very weak moon by sign and house.
The moon is a person's overall mind. Like, how strong headed are they? If they are very receptive they might be easier to pull one over on.
Weak Mercury will not reason well. Strong Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Uranus and Pluto are not easily influenced and might be the ones who do the influencing.
Uranus is the planet of the stubborn, pig headed and will not listen to your feeble attempt.
Pluto can see through your lies.
Libra/Saturn can reason through them.
Capricorn/Saturn is too busy to care about them.

Both easy and harsh could indicate a mind that's more rigid and less accepting. Saturn in harsh aspect to the moon can restrict the powers of the mind. Saturn tend to take away so the person with the harsher aspect could be kind of dull and unimaginative in some ways. Not sure if they would be easier to fool. It's easier to deceive people who are receptive instead of the ones who are set in their ways and resistant to the opinions of others, that is, unless they are fooled by someone who knows how to work their dogmatic tendencies like what happens sometimes in religion or parties of some kind. The people involved can be very rigid and inflexible in their thinking but could be fooled by someone who shares their paradigm. IP: Logged |
