I feel the two can work together but I still have not gotten a good answer....
Or maybe they prone and sacred concepts that have no connection.
Or do we just adopt these concepts out of laziness or habit?

A chart determines the present and future.
Not the entire past, so how can your birth chart which determines the event from the moment your are born predict a past event not long ago.
There are few thing in a chart that is directly linked with the past is the SN.
So wouldn't we look at those examples predetermine our Genetics and thus be more emphasized?
The 4th house for example?

That's like saying when a creature hatches from its egg, it's alive..
No it's perfectly alive and thriving inside the egg.. Also their are environmental influences that take place before an egg hatches predetermines it's health, for example in toxic environments it can mutate the creature inside the egg.
How can astrology predetermine this for living creatures? Unless we look at our conception.
Your dna is predetermined after your conception.. and the environment your host is living in determines the result of our DNA. So how can we compare our birth chart to our dna which is determined before birth lol.
I'm not saying astrology has no effect over our dna but looking at the day we leave our womb is not scientifically accurate.. Technically in astrology we study charts for everything events too....
Hmmm?

Our birth chart determines the environment but environment is only half the answer for the end result.
We can say our destiny or karma takes place when your are born because that is the start of your life outside the womb.
Destiny Karma has nothing to do with science.
Science can't proof it does not exist but it can prove biology.

Ask any dedicated physicist and they will tell you that the world is made of probabilities. Many physicists do not believe in free will as they understand that there are fundamental laws that govern physical existence which can be predicted to a certain extent using probabilities. The study of quantum physics is all about looking at the motions of subparticles in atoms, where the fundamental laws and the forces (gravity, electromagnetism, weak force, strong force, and higgs) enable us to predict the movements and behaviors of the subparticles that make up the atoms, that make up the molecules that make up our living cells. Thus, in a perfect world with the best observational tools and infinite storage space, just as we could predict the behavior of the tiny atom based off of the nature of each subparticle, we could predict the nature of the entire world, our environments, and our selves, based off of the nature of each planet in our solar system and its relationship with the sun and the rest of the cosmos from which our genesis had ultimately originated from. Someday when we have a unified field theory we will better understand how the planets affect us from the larger scale of suns (fixed stars) to the quantum level, from which the physics that dictates the universe, dictates the nature of the chemistry that guides the behavior of molecular interactions that ultimately influence our biology.

As for astrology today, im just going to paste what I wrote in the other thread because I find it to be applicable here as well

Astrology is an art of archetypes, and thus you can interpret one placement or aspect in 100 different ways. there are some physical phenomenon you can predict in life through transits and progression but if you don't understand the underlying reasons for WHY those things occur on those transits than you are just blindly guessing based off of what you read on some website.

For example, some website will say that when transiting uranus makes a square to your natal mars that you could get into an accident, the reason they come up with this interpretation is because they know that uranian energy is erratic and constantly changing and a bit anxious at times, and so for that to affect your mars which represents how you take action, it could mean that you end up feeling restless and end up making erratic actions, moving too fast, changing directions too quickly, and thus this energy makes it easier for someone to end up in an accident.

basicly, theres a multitude of ways that things can end up manifesting in reality. to try and make those predictions and relate it all back to movements of the planets, it would be incredibly difficult to analyze every single nuance, not to mention there are so many celestial bodies in our solar system that arent accounted for as strongly, including eris, a dwarf planet larger than pluto, but the best we can do are share our collective experiences and see the statistics behind what happens to other people and analyze and understand how the art of archetypes works in our daily lives.

Chart reading can determine your past. It's just that you don't know how to crack the code yet. And even if you did, you can't verify that's the actual past. So you project it into the future.

You can look at chart of conception if you want. But there's a reason why you didn't leave the womb a day earlier or a day later. I mean there's probably a chart for the sperm, and the egg, and day of conception and why the other sperms didn't make it. But I don't think you want to study that. Scientists just like calling it natural law or something.
