Personally noticed Taurus and Sag are hard to offend, you can tell raunchy jokes around them and they don't blink an eye.

Not putting up with bad humor is just one type of appearing easily offended. People who are not easily offended are long sufferers who will put up with a lot and not bat an eye. People who offend easily generally complain but all of them do not complain about the same things.
So do not be fooled by what they complain about, just that they are complaining. They complain because they are easily offended.

I'm a Capricorn (with a Virgo Moon no less). I can be offended. I can also not take offense. It depends on the situation.

Well. Capricorn sun, leo moon, and libra mars. And i am hardly offended. Every offense to me is either categorized as petty, or illogical.

You say i am stupid? Well, i disagree, and sorry to disappoint you, but i am not lol. I come as very provocative.

Or: you say i am stupid? Well sorry to say this, but i don't acknowledge you as a person, so what your statement null. This is even more provocative.

Offenses just don't get to me. At all.

Well one person, only one can, who actually blatantly belittles anyone jokingly even in the presence of people whom they don't know. He is a friend but he is annoying as hell. This is the only person in the world who manages to get me offended.

Yeah people with a lot of taurus can be hard to offend too, they're just sort of like "meh, whatever" about it cause they're too easy going to get riled up over something inconsequential.

Someone brought up something about different ways to offend people, like aquarians being offended when you diss their ideals, I have to agree that different signs are easier or harder to offend based on the subject matter of what is posed to be "offensive". By my own personal observation, fire dominant seem to be more offended when you are insulting their ego (personality, ambitions, their self expression) whereas air dominant seem to be more offended when insulting their ideals, interests or intellect while water dom are offended when you disregard their feelings.
When it comes to earth I think they are more offended when you insult their values, meaning their possessions, wealth, status, and other worldly things.

I will not offend easily if you say something about my person. Mostly it goes in one ear and out the other. You could say anything, really. It would take some pretty heavy machinery to make me take notice. I've been called so many names. It's boring, petty, and usually just said to spite anyway. The distinction is easily spotted.

If, however, someone offends or contradicts my beliefs. My! It's all to do with the aquarian ideals. Don't dis the ideals!

So yeah... That garbage-bag throwing person could totally be me. For example... If you don't want to offend me, don't mess with the animals. Or the trees. And don't litter, it's offensive and I will yell. Don't throw rice at a wedding it will kill the birds. If you speed or drink and drive or offer people drugs, or sit in the backseat without a seatbelt on or wear your kid on a leash or give them toy guns I will take offense.

So yeah. Not sure who said aquarians are tolerant people. I think it all depends on the Aquarian in question's beliefs. I would expect they differ greatly.

There's the difference between aqua and sag....I don't like any of those things either but I won't say anything to you about it, I'll just walk away, avoid or not hang around you!! If you try to befriend me, I'll be polite n then find a way to dismiss myself without making a scene!
I don't know many saggys that would make a scene unless they have an aries moon or something?

Haha! Sometimes it seems like Aquarius is Virgo on steroids!
It's like dude, let go of it already!

I'm sure you are referring to me, and I disagree. I don't really get emotional or offended, but maybe that doesn't translate well over the internet. I feel like people here are always attributing emotions and attitudes to me that I just don't have. Mainly because I am a realist, even if reality isn't always pleasant. If I was to look outside and see clouds and say "looks like its about to rain" some people would think that i was being negative or a wet blanket. Is that my fault? The honest truth is if we had some of the discussions we have had on here in real life I would be the most calm, cool, and, collected person in the room.

Yep, you are one. You aren't the only one though, lol, so it's not just your posts I meant. I noticed this in more than one Aqua sun.
I know there's no point in arguing with Aqua though. You guys don't like to change your minds, hehe.

But I don't get offended lol. I remember one poster on here told me that she just knew I was crying. When I told her she was wrong , she insisted that I was. The funny thing is I haven't cried in over a decade... Overly emotional people (I.E women) might not be able to comprehend that, but its the truth.

No, your fellow aqua sun (and a woman with a cancer moon no less) can comprehend that. It may not have been a decade for me but I don't think I cry... Every year even. I don't really know, can't remember last time. I'm very emotionally balanced, so things don't really faze me much.

I'll argue like nobody's business though. So people may misunderstand. If by "take offense" you mean "be upset" then no. More like annoyed in a very detached sort of way. And never about myself (it's just not that interesting). so as with Aquaguy here, I'll be arguing with a straight face.

I can see that. It's not that I go around making scenes often... I mean I do have somesocial finesse... But I have on occasion. A couple of years ago a kid had a toy automatic rifle and was playing around with it on a bus station. He aimed it at me (and several others) and pretended to shoot me. He was sneaking around the bus stop (pretending to be a sniper) for several minutes. The boy was maybe 6, and his parents did nothing. I told his mom off (in a calm and collected manner) as I found it really offensive, and she made the boy put the toy away.

Usually I'll only speak out like that if I'm placed in a situation where the behavior I find offensive affects me personally (or someone unable to defend themselves) in some way. In that case I can be quite confrontational and won't shy away from making a scene (why care who sees when I think I'm right anyway?).

I'm a quadruple sag, and it is really very difficult to offend me. Not that I don't get hurt. It's probably easier to hurt me than it is to offend me. And bothered... i get bothered often My mother really bugs me! lol. But yeah shocked or offended, rarely.

I could see your reason for speaking up...is be tempted if I had my kids with me! But I'd probably just tell my kids that's not appropriate and give the parents a look hoping they got that what their child was doing was inappropriate!

I know not everyone would bother, and I don't blame them really. It depends on what you believe and how much you believe it. It was making me really uncomfortable (and my friends too), and I don't think the parents were aware of it so I chose to let them know because I thought they were acting in ignorance. When guns are associated with bad memories (as they are for me), you don't need the reminder. Everyone's experiences are different, so although people are free to do this stuff at their own homes, at the very least I think it is fair to say it is not appropriate in public. Because of my own experiences it was something I felt strongly enough about.

I'm thinking we must all have some things we are easily offended by, if only for the associations it brings us. If you have low self-esteem, wouldn't you be offended by being called ugly? Or if you have children and they are your pride and joy, would it not be offensive if someone said they were annoying?/stupid?/ugly?

I'm thinking aquarians probably have more impersonal "ideals" than most, which can lead to more impersonal things being seen as offensive. A cancerian would probably be mortified if someone offended her children. A capricorn if someone scoffed her career. A Leo her person (or looks), perhaps? Of course I'm exaggerating a bit.
