Anyone ever had this with a romantic partner? His venus opposes my mars, and vice versa. It's a hard one to find personal experience on. Would it be good/work? Just curious to see if anyone's had that with a person before.

It is supposed to evoke strong physical responses or some kind of magnetic attraction to each other, but is also fraught with difficulties.

In a nutshell, you two will find it difficult to be indifferent to each other

Which elements are involved?

I have Venus in Pisces and Mars in Aquarius.

His Venus is in Leo and his Mars (which also happens to conjunct my own Jupiter) in Virgo.

What do you think? Do the elements make a difference as well?

Hey, you and I both have water Venus/air Mars

I am Venus in Scorpio, Mars in Libra though

Your elements suggest a thinking/feeling capacity whilst his suggest an action/ feeling way of expression.

You may argue with him to be a little more rational(Mars in Aquarius) and not be so rigid(Leo Venus) whilst he may criticize(Virgo Mars) you on being indolent(Venus in Pisces)

Your Venus and Mars signs are in quincunx and this suggests that fundamentally, you two respond to each other in conflicting ways.

Venus in Leo is dominant, expressive and confident. Pisces is private, changeable and intuitive. You two may not like the same things and argue on tastes.

Mars in Aquarius is outspoken, opinionated, likes debate and unstructured. Virgo is practical, critical, efficient and nervous.

The Mars in Aquarius will have its own casual way of executing things whereas the Virgo Mars will come from a completely perfectionist perspective. Clashes are likely.

The issues herein may re-enforce the attraction as well as the tension to each other as, depending on how close the orbs are, you will first be drawn to each other and then highlight(very clearly), the differences in each other. This swings in one way and then the other.

Just to add on to what I've said.

I had a similar connection with someone:
They had Aries Venus and Mars in Taurus.

But there was only an opposition between Venus(Aries) and my Mars(Libra) as well as a quincunx aspect between Venus(Aries) and my Venus(Scorpio).

Basically what occurred was that, initially, we got along great. We seemed to be able to gel very well and we had so much to say to each other. Their Venus formed a conjunction with my Asc in Aries(orb of 5 degrees).

As time went on , however, I found their approach to things somewhat too "basic" and "rigid" (Mars in Taurus quincunx my Mars in Libra). They were also too outspoken, combative and insensitive at (Venus in Aries quincunx my Venus in Scorpio).

This attraction went back and forth. If you can handle that , go for it. But,then again, at the beginning, it's irresistible.

I know a couple like this...

EDIT:
Him: Sag/Sag/Sag/Capricorn/Scorpio
Her: Taurus/Aries/Gemini/Taurus/Cancer

They definitely can't be indifferent to each other, and they seem to be in a fight half the time and the other half they seem to be such a team together and even when they fight it's clear how much passion is in-between them. I've often wondered about them in that respect...just how many opposites are too many opposites?

I think you mixed up the placements there. A Sag sun can never have a Venus in Taurus nor can a Taurus Sun ever have a Venus in Capricorn.

But yes, the general idea is what I just said. The arguments could also be perpetuated by Mercury/Mercury oppositions or squaring Mars. This can make the arguments so damn heated!

The "passion" that you speak of in their arguments, is the Venus/Mars opposition in full manifestation. It is also the same Venus/Mars opposition that makes them work as a team.

Breaking up, is VERY difficult. Both can feel that, though the relationships has its varying ups and downs, the other will be leaving with a "piece" of them.

As such, they just can't let go. They keep on going through these dizzying heights and can't seem to get off.

If they do break up, the attraction lingers on like some incomplete story. They would be drawn to each other, always curious about the ending. The truth is, it doesn't end(their story that is).

You still wanna dive in? Good luck

Great comments guys, thank you! Would his mars also making a conjunction to my chart ruler (jupiter) intensify the dynamic for better/worse? It's a lot of aspects I know
