The most misunderstood placement of all times. I have Venus in Cap and I don't care about status and money. ALL I want is LOVE. I'm the happiest person when I'm with the person I love, I don't care about anything else.

I can't stand when people talk about Venus in Cap as if we are gold diggers.

When I fall in love, and it's love at first sight for me, I would do anything for that person. I love the chase as well. As a Venus in Cap, I'm very determined and romantic when I'm in love.

Just wanted to say this.

I know a couple who have Venus conjunct Venus in Cap (with Ur & Nep there as well) and they're really into each other, very lovey dovey, especially the guy who's a Cap Sun / Pisces Moon. The gal's a double Sag w/ Pisces ASC but she's more controlled with PDA.

They definitely make long-term plans and are quite concerned with the future. Typical Cap, ha.

Absolutely!

I want to be financially stable of course, but I'm not exactly what I'd call "money hungry". And I don't care about "status symbols" or marrying some super powerful person or whatever it is that people are always spewing.

I don't really like to chase people, though.

Yes, I'm the same as well.

I'm big on longterm planning though. If I can't see it 10 years into the future it's not going to happen here and now either.

Of course it doesn't always work out, but if you can't even picture it then what is the point?

My chasing is actually passive aggresive chasing lol

Venus aspects are also important as ell as the whole chart, to see how that person is like but I just want to stop wrong image of Venus in Cap.

We are just completely committed to our loves, that's the most common characteristic I guess.

Sure you can. Some people have power simply in their presence, the way they speak, the way they are able to impress or manipulate others. There are those people who just reek of power, whether or not you know who they are or how much is in their bank account. Powerful people are people who look like they know what they are doing, people who appear as experts in their field, people who others wouldn't dare disrespect or go head-to-head against. People with status + money have power because other people want what they have, not necessarily because they are efficacious or formidable.

That's what people want others who have "power" to think.
I'm willing to charm my teacher or a boss but as soon as they mess up I'm definitely going to take them down, with much pleasure too.
I don't think I've met anyone people are grovel over unless they are in a position of direct power, or they physically powerful, or if they have status/beauty. I guess some people like to think others are scared of them because they are them LOL. That's ego I guess.

People with money have the best lawyers and dubious contacts, they are quite untouchable.

Let's take an authority figure of some kind, like a teacher. Teachers do not make much money and they sorta have a little status. How much they actually have remains in question. They are generally well regarded in various cultures.
You would think teachers have a lot of power over the ones they teach and they can arbitrarily hand out grades bases one abstract concepts like, "how much did this student participate," which pretty much boils down to how much do I like this student?
This can be influenced by the power the student has over the teacher. It's more complex. It's actually the student who has power over the teacher, not the other way around like it initially appears.
Teachers tend to be influenced by students who parents are prominent in the community for whatever reason and are more inclined to give their kids better grades.
All someone has to do is start blabbing about how their tax dollars pay a teacher's salary and I have seen **** poor students zoom ahead to the very apex of the class based pretty much on threats by the parents and how they own the teachers through their tax dollars.
Teaching is my mom's chosen field and it always put me at a disadvantage although you would think otherwise because my mother could never strong arm the teachers like other parents and the teachers never wanted others to think they were biased and believe me, this one girl's parents would have accused them of that if they ever cut me a break.

Off topic but I've noticed a lot of Venus in Capricorns are SHY, especially around me or others who are also trying to get to know a Venus in Capricorn. They do really passive things like creep to be around the person they are focused on, go out of their way to be seen by that person, but they won't just walk up and say "Hey how's it going"? I've seen this is in 20 year old Venus in Capricorns, 25 year old Venus in Capricorns, 30 year old Venus in Capricorns… like, what gives? I could understand it better (as a Venus in Aries myself) if there was no relationship and they were strangers, but they aren't.

They might find that manner of approach a bit "desperate" or "easy". They aren't really about flings or superficial relationships either, theyre interested in something more serious so sometimes that casual "hey wanna go out" approach doesn't seem right for them, unless they are really sure about that person.
It's part of capricorns more serious nature that might also make them unsure of others at first, and would rather observe until they can be sure the other person is worth it since they are interested in a more committed relationship and do not want to waste time with someone if it will just end up being a casual fling or not sustainable.

Also, it puts you in a state of vulnerability .

Probably fear of rejection, Hanna. If Venus in Cap creeps around the chances of someone telling him to get lost are lower than if he walks up to a girl and confesses his undying love for her. Earth signs can settle for compromises or just being near. They are patient about some things. A patient earth sign can linger around their beloved for years, just being there for them, without any declarations of anything. Just being there.

I don't actively seek rich people or people who have high social status. I don't think it's bad, it's just that I'm aware that it often comes with certain costs.

I wouldn't want to be in a relationship with someone who isn't financially independent, and/or is bad with money.

Chasing.. hmm I like a bit of playful chase, a bit of courting dance. But I'd stop if the other person doesn't response or is hesitant.

I ain't got time for you, baby, either you're mine or you're not

Money and status are nothing but something to be lost, an illusion, a joke.
There is no such thing as a "nobody."
People who are impressed by money and status are the most powerless, saddest souls of all...

Okay, true. I can see that as a justification for the 30 year old I was mentioning. The 20 year old, no, because that's my ex-boyfriend and he screwed up and I'm looking for him to man up… not compromise. LOL can you see why we're not together?

By the way I said passive aggressive but I don't creep around. I make my intentions very obvious and clear. Its like I say everything in my actions. And I make bold actions. I like to surprise as well. I'm not shy and never afraid of reaction. I just like to attract, let him come to me by making my intentions clear. I tend to be quite daring compared to the people I know.

Yeah, he was clear in the beginning but then he changed his mind, and I think he feels left out and wants me to include him in my life but it's not fair to me after what happened. He has a lot of conjunctions to Uranus and Neptune though, you probably have different aspects?

I do agree with you in a sense that status and money adds greatly to the power

But I think money and status follows naturally to the one with the power
I personally think of money and status/sense of authority as tools for power

I don't fully disagree with you though, money, status and power are all closely related to each other

I like men who are confident, highly capable, driven, and have good work ethic. Not necessarily rich and famous, but more so the character. Because I think that ultimately determines whether or not they'll get anywhere in life. I mean, I am a very emotional, sappy, and affectionate person; would do pretty much anything for my loved ones. But at the end of the day, just having "love" won't put food on the table.
