Like how influential are they?
in your personal experience.
I always overlooked them.I just realized by best friends sun is within the gemini-mercury decan, I was wondering about its importance. IP: Logged |

Not sure.There are different methods for decans..
But usually I think it goes like this: Gemini 1 (0°-9°) - Gemini (Mercury vibe)
Gemini 2 (10°-19°) - Libra (Venus vibe)
Gemini 3 (20°-29°) - Aquarius (Uranus vibe) They just follow the order of the Zodiac. There's probably some influence but I wouldn't say it's obvious.

I have my Mars in the sign of the decan so it's hard for me to determine how strong influence it has on me.------------------

^ Yeah that's what I was thinking...I can always think of something else in the chart that supports the decan influence, lol. Like for myself - Neptune sextiles my Sun so I'm technically at least somewhat Neptunian, with or without the decan influence. *shrug* IP: Logged |

Yep, same here.
Sun in Leo in Mars ruled decan So....
More fire.
Mars is conjunct ascendant already and Pluto is also. (sexuality in the open) It's hard to say. I've looked at people I know and still very difficult to say. Darkstar astrology had pretty good descriptions. IP: Logged |

I looked up gemini decans on Darkstar and it said 1st decan=jupiter 2nd=mars 3rd=sun
i tought decans were supposed to signs in the same element :P am i missing something?

Yeah i noticed it was the same for the other signs aswell, however all other sites ive seen give contrairy info to this.. i don't get it but still these interpretations did make allot of sense nvm i just read "NOTE: I am using the ancient Chaldean rulers of the decanates." IP: Logged |
