Why is it that none of the celebrities who are used as examples of soulmate couples or have been together for a long time, have no major nodal conjunctions in synastry?Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton Marylin Monroe and Joe DiMaggio(he was pretty infatuated and they were in and off often) Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward Patrick Swayze and his wife Jolie and Pitt Just to name a few.Why is that? This is an old thread in which you can find nodes connections made by famous couple. http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum24/HTML/209853.html IP: Logged |

I still don't believe you NEED nodal conjunctions for it to be significant. These couples don't have that and they loved.IP: Logged |

Nodal contacts just happen to be extremely common. From memory, elizabeth taylor and richard burton had vertex node conjunction. Also from memory angelina jolie's mars square brad pitt's node...As the link I provided earlier, many famous couple who were known for being "soulmate like" had nodal contacts (grace kelly and prince rainier, paul mccartney and hiw wife, joanne woodward and paul newman..) Now no aspect is either "required" for something to be significant or not. We don't make the laws and honestly claiming to have pinpoint the law of attraction and sticking together wouldn't be realistic. All we can do is study as many couple's synastry as possible and look for pattern that repeat over and over again. And angles, axis, luminaries contacts is a huge one coming over and over again in synastry of people who were significant to each other (not necessarily in a romantic way)

Several famous soulmate couples actually have the square to the nodes in synastry. It's considered a marriage aspect. From my research, I have found conjunctions to the NN in synastry occurs in relationships that usually end. IP: Logged |

Tgem I find observation very interesting. What made you arrive at the conclusion? Isnt it supposed to be tje other way round? quote: Originally posted by tgem: Several famous soulmate couples actually have the square to the nodes in synastry. It's considered a marriage aspect. Not necessarily. Check out some celebrity couples: Pitt/Jolie, carter/cash, Taylor/burton, woodward/Newman. There's articles out there about the squares to the nodes. In my experience, as well, relationships, both platonic and romantic that have nodal conjunctions have always ended. Don't forget that a square to the nodal axis, not only touches the NN but someone's SN as well which gives that familiarity/karmic feeling. IP: Logged |

Thank you tgem! It just kinda annoys me when time and time again Nodal conjunctions are made to seem like everything.I'm not "hating"(I can't believe I just used that word) cause I don't have that,I'm just trying to point out something I've noticed. IP: Logged |

what would be that gives a relationship staying power in your opinion? Would you say there needs to be a balance of nn and sn not just one of the other only quote: Originally posted by tgem: Not necessarily. Sure nodal connections are significant. Saturn needs to play a huge part though. Saturn is the one with the staying power...both soft and hard aspects.IP: Logged |

Anything that hits the vertex will seem very fated. The vertex, like the ASC is a very sensitive point. It does not necessarily mean the connection will last, however. But it would indicate a fated...significant relationship. IP: Logged |

You don't have to have Node conjunctions to be connected with someone, of course it is a major help in the relationship but the node is just your soul goal and the position of your Draconic Node (Head and Bodys lunar node position)------------------ 2012 AD ^ The Age of Aquarius. IP: Logged |

Well yes, conjunctions would obviously be felt the most. But don't discount an opposition or square...maybe a trine..especially if the orb is very tight/exact.. IP: Logged |

A square might actually be the strongest glue, as it is at the balance point of both nodes (granted the balance might be created by a certain tension).I can`t confirm that conjunctions to the NN always lead to break up though IP: Logged |
