The north node will manifest itself in the manner of which house its placed in. The themes of scorpio north node will be expressed in that way. Mines in the fifth and so that means I will discover my nn through creative pursuits, children, romance etc. Careers involving that would be beneficial if you see what I mean.
I suppose in a basic sense, just going with Scorpio the sign itself, you could say that anything 8th house/Scorpio related would be good. Im thinking mortcian, lawyer maybe? Umm......I cant think.. well yknow stuff like that. Hope this helped a bit.

The sign placement is about the energies and attributes your soul is ready to develop over this course of this lifetime with the south node's innate energies acting as a foundation to propel yourself from. As already said , the house placement of your north node will represent the area of your life in which these new energies and attributes will be developed.

The characteristics that the Taurus/Scorpio axis both share are related to perseverance and preservation. From the taurean south node, you have over a period of past lifetimes developed energies and attributes that deal with the perseverance and preservation of self, in a material, sensual and practical level. You inherently know what you value in your life and about yourself and what you wish to preserve to keep a sense of stability. These attributes will be especially apparent in the area represented by the south node's house placement. If in the first house, this will relate to your ego and self identity, if in the ninth will relate to your higher outlook on life and where you fall into the greater scheme of things as well as your philosophy, schooling and in what ways you seek expansion whether physically, mentally or spiritually.

Therefore in this lifetime you are looking to further these energies relating to perseverance and preservation to not only a focus on yourself but to others and your "other self" on a very deeply emotionally charged level, beyond the already familiar domains of the material, sensual and practical. You are learning to go deeper, below the surface of things - yourself, your life and others. You begin to realise that stability on a more superficial level is no longer of value or worth to you, and may not even give you the security you need. You have to explore and delve deep into another world that is intense. You're not entirely sure about it, but it intrigues you. It is here you will discover a completely new form of perseverance and preservation. Perseverance becomes tenacity, whilst preservation shifts to death and rebirth - transformation. You are no ready to let things go. Let the seasons come and go as nature please. You now understand the true nature of change and the true value of it.

To answer your question, if you're someone that feels like their life mission is tied to their vocation, like a trine or sextile between the north node and the midheaven or otherwise a planet positioned in the tenth house, then with the knowledge that you do have of these two placements, think about how the node's energies can be manifested in a potential career(s) you are interested in pursuing.
