I follow Martin Armstrong who does cyclical patterns without all the Astrology/Spiritual side of things. He believes in a 25 yr period he calls the Cycles of War and 2014 is his next target for War to occur. His dates are:July 26, 1914 - WW 1
August 13, 1939 - WW 2
August 7, 1964 - Tonkin Gulf
September 1989 - Russia & China
October 2014 - ??? If we can't learn from past mistakes, we're bound to repeat them. I hope one day mankind can truly live in peace. IP: Logged |

are there other patterns we can discuss about fellow astrology lovers ?? Where was the saturn in august 13, 1939? where mars? etc...I compered yesterday Stalins and Mao Tze Tung natal chart ...Both famous for the brutality and killing of many (own) people..guess what, but pattern is there. Both have for example afflicted mars in scorpio plus Stalin had Saturn sitting direct on ASC.

Well, what's happening right now in Crimea is a long way from a world war. That said, my intuition has been telling my for the past year or so that there's a massive war coming soon, like within the next few years. I've always had an uncanny ability to anticipate world events, I think it's because I have Apollo conjunct my Sun. Anyway, I'm not surprised astrologists are seeing signs of it as well. I'm pretty sure it will start in Asia but maybe it will encompass parts of Europe and the Middle East as well. I hope I'm wrong though (my intuition is hardly failsafe), the last thing the world needs right now is an enormous war.IP: Logged |

I honestly doubt there will be a massive war. I give the species a bit more credit. There will be isolated civil wars but nothing large and on a grand scale, especially in the middle east where there's a lot of precious real estate. They will not tolerate the possibility it would be destroyed in places like Dubai and Beirut. Tel Aviv, too, would not risk it.
The best way to prevent these wars is to build the cities up so they are valuable in the eyes of the people. IP: Logged |

Ukraine was bound to have problems with Russia over the Crimea. This "conflict" was inevitable.When Ukraine "joined" the Soviet Union Crimea was a part of Russia. Upon independence in 1991 Ukraine emerged with more territory (Crimea) then it went in with. I suppose this was cool with the Russians so long as Ukraine remained an ally. Now that Ukraine wishes to join the West, Moscow is essentially saying, 'we want our territory back' If Ukraine is smart, honest, and serious about going west, they must leave the Crimea/Russia behind. We aren't at WW3 yet, let's have some hope that this will be resolved. I just hope NA politicians will put aside their partisanship politics and focus on the Ukraine/Russia crisis. I'm sure no one wants WW3 to happen.IP: Logged |

My biggest concern are the minority Tartars in Crimea right now.
