If I have 14°gemini sun and 19°taurus moon - my sun moon midpoint will be 1°gemini sun.

If someone else's moon is 28°scorpio, does this mean my sun moon midpoint squares their moon?

Thanks to those who can help!

Opposite their Moon within a 3 degree orb.

Yup, and no problem

Because 1 degree Gemini is exactly opposite 1 degree Sagittarius, so subtract 3 degrees from 1 degree Sagittarius, and you get 28 degrees Scorpio.

So that would be called an opposition within a 3 degree orb.

Gemini and Scorpio are quincunx (inconjunct) signs.

It's an opposition because it's involving very late Scorpio with very early Gemini.

For example, Gemini and Sagittarius are in opposition, so if you're at early Gemini and late Scorpio, the late Scorpio is almost in early Sagittarius, which would be Gemini's opposite sign. Thus, an opposition is created, due to the orb.

one last question, does declinations play a part im whether they aspect or not?

my sun is 22° 31' 15"
my moon is 19° 12' 51"

his moon 16° 47' 58"

some astrologers take declinations into consideration, yes. But the orb should be under one degree.

How do midpoints work in natal chart ? Are they important only in relationships ? BML conjuncts my Sun/Moon midpoint and women I usually attract are lilith types.

thanks ceri, but in this case, does my sun moon midpoint opposes his moon not taking into account declination since it is more than 1° orb
