I just realized I tend to not remember that I have it in my chart. What do you think about this aspect? My orb is 7, if that matters. Could a slightly wider conjunction to Saturn "kill" this opposition?------------------ I'm sooo happy! I mean, cappy. IP: Logged |

Ehhh. This is like the most useless planet in my chart -_- Jupiter, that is. Maybe it's all because it's retro...------------------ I'm sooo happy! I mean, cappy. IP: Logged |

I have a similar configuration, except it's a square in both cases. Sometimes I feel the effect of Saturn on my Venus is cancelled out by Jupiter. But sometimes they're taking turns.Venus/Jupiter is very self indulgent I would say. Without Saturn, I would have been obese, adiabatic and very goofy ( in general and in love). Now I have noticed with Jupiter/venus, I have a lot of luck in relationships that offsets Saturn's effect. But again, it's a square, so my luck is 50/50.

I have venus square jupiter with no saturn aspect..I want everything around me to be gilded in gold. I have sun trine saturn and sun square jupiter soo it kinda balances out my personality perfectly.. I'm not that greedy and I'll wait my turn.. but I am way too much fun.. IP: Logged |

my jupiter is in fifth and opposes venus (and mercury)- i dont know what this aspect brings to the table really... Do i love good things in life,to pamper myself,to look the best i can - yes; do i like eating and do i oscilate in weight, damn yes,but i also stress over having perfect body at the same time so i retrict myself sometimes. If anything this aspect probably brought me creativity with few other lacements and aspects i have. Love,no.IP: Logged |

Hmm.. I was wondering about how the opposition would differ from the conjunction and square.. I have the conjunction and yeah I do go overboard in things.. But happily so. Am pretty generous too, if I may say so myself The square I've seen sometimes over indulges people and then regrets it.. The conjunction, trine or sextile, on the other hand, does not regret it.. Going all out seems like the *only* way to do it, with the conjunction.. I'm curious what the opposition and square people's experiences are.. IP: Logged |

Venus in hard aspect to Jupiter definitely makes you at risk for being too indulgent, not even because you don't care (though it's possible), but just forgetting about what's going to happen next. That buffet you keep taking food from even when you're not really that hungry anymore because it just tastes so good and you're enjoying yourself so much! Or spending way too much and then being broke way too soon. Yes I'm speaking from experience lol. I think the conjunction, from what I've seen, is actually the hardest one because like said, it's like there's no other option and compelling. With the opposition, I can see someone going back and forth on it, maybe also in terms of what you find enjoyable (Venus) vs beliefs (Jupiter). Though that may also be if Saturn is involved, too. The square is just internal conflict haha (which I have). Wow I googled for this and there's not a lot of threads on Venus-Jupiter natally in here.

My venus conjunct Jupiter aspect is one of my fav aspects ever in my chart. I have the conjunction and of what I have seen so far by others descriptions its not the same as an opposition My conjunction is in Aries 8th house conjunct n.node. Trine saturn square neptune, inconjunct Pluto and Asc. My venus is the ruler of my taurus sun. But my venus being in Aries and 8th house really keeps me in line I believe I read the north node and jupiter together helps to fight off the negatives of this aspect and its true for me. I have nothing negative to say of this aspect. Makes me super generous with gifts to loved ones. I shower those friends I love with conciderate gifts, I love giving when I like a person, I can’t help it. When my heart is open to someone so is my generosity, jupiter expands the venus good sides. N.node helps to not overindulge. Neptune helps with selflessness. I’m generous with my warmth and care and love if I like someone. Still I would never let someone use me and take advantage of me. Saturn makes me not wanna invest my time or energy in people who are not valuing me or my friendship. I sense fakeness miles away so I invest only in people and friendships where I feel they are empathic and caring and values me for being me. I love being lazy and food and chocolate, still I’m very fit and workout since I also have virgo asc and moon opposite saturn etc etc. Being healthy and fit is important. I have not had weight issues, other then loosing too much weight in some periods of my life I wanna feel I have earned my lazy time though! Being productive is important to me. I will reward myself with good food and chocolate only when I feel I have earned it, by exercise or work etc So I guess its not alike an opposition then? Seriously my fav aspect in my chart along with my neptune aspects.. IP: Logged |

Sounds like your Saturn is helping you a lot. Is it in a positive aspect to Jupiter? I do like that Jupiter-NN thing. Being generous is part of your life path. Oh wait I just saw that you have the trine between Jupiter and Saturn. Then I def think Saturn is helping you not to overdo it. IP: Logged |

I’m not so sure about saturns “help” as even a trine to saturn seems harsh in my experience:/ IP: Logged |

Ah no . I guess in that case, maybe it gets easier to understand the aspect? I can see the argument, with planets like Saturn, Pluto, etc., they're difficult even if making an easy aspect. Anyway glad you aren't struggling too much (looks like it) with some of the bad qualities of the aspect. IP: Logged |
