Does it go away when the NN comes onto the scene around age 18-19? What about during the second nodal return age 37-38?

South Node is your body .. your southern node, when you are young you start off in your body and as you develop and grow older you move more into your Head and Northern node. You're always in both.

The face of your body is your southern node, for example my South Node is conjunct Siva, Lancelot, Admetos and Sedna, they are the shape of my body's node. Same as Rahu and Ketu.

In my experience.. this definitely does not happen so early on in life. 18/19 is very early on!

Usually the NN traits start showing more in people's late 30s or 40s.
I don't think the SN traits go away though. I usually notice both the NN and the SN in the person.

So, if my SN is in Taurus, the Taurus never goes away?

No, in simple terms your Southern Lunar Node, or the Node that is your Body, is ruled by Taurus.

Ok. I just had my second nodal return and I am noticing myself being more sensitive than in the past. I feel that when I had my first nodal return at 18-19, that I was starting to become more emotional but I still felt of lot of the earth grounding influence. I'm worried that now I will be a raw nerve all the time.

Was I more Taurus like when I was young and now as an adult I am going to be more scorpio?

Sorry to keep asking....would I have seemed more like a Taurus until ages 18-19? Then more like a Scorpio in late 30's?

Your moon sign/aspects as well as your Lifepath # plays a part at these nodal returns as well. All three are activated at the 9 year intervals.

I find the north node is obvious in childhood, more than the south. You will see the north node in people you know that are your age. They share common characteristics. It tends to be a mixture of both south and north with the north being more exaggerated. Like with Virgo/Pisces, we are sorta quiet and escapist although we spend some time being ultra pure. It's a saintly combination, I think, like with holy people who wish for a better life only to find this one and being dissatisfied.

So look to see how Taurus/Scorpio shows up in you and the people you knew as a kid since most of them were your age. Were they preoccupied with their belongings and tended to be very possessive? Were they volatile at times? You might have known a few who went through some very difficult times and maybe required counseling to get through it. You might have thought they were a bit too touchy-feely or you could have been this way.

@ Nine - What is the 9 year intervals? What does that mean? Do the moon aspects and life path number increase or diminish with power every nine years? My life path number is 1. I have a few aspects to my moon such as a Jupiter trine moon, moon conjunct mercury, moon semisquare Saturn, moon conjunct pluto, moon trine AC. Honestly, I feel my life getting worse and worse over time.

@ SSS - I grew up with the kids in my class being half Taurus SN/Scorpio NN, half Aries SN/Libra NN. My friends who were Scorpio NN were earthy, as was I. The Libra NN kids were a bit wild with lots of energy (Aries SN I guess). None were really bad. I don't remember any having any problems. But I definitely remember the Taurus SN kids being earthy. I feel that is gone out the window now.

I feel that the water sign NN's are looked upon as unsophisticated or loose cannons by the earth, air, and fire NN's.

No. I think the key is a balance of the two energies.

I went to school with many Aries north node and they were always very Arien in a lot of ways and not in the good way like the Aries sun. I like Aries suns a lot.
