This guy I like, he has Venus in Gemini in the 6th house while I have my Venus in Virgo in the 3rd house. Would our love styles be considered kind of the same type? Or not?

He does talk a lot like a Gemini venus but he seems very shy when it comes to girls. I wonder if his venus placement is responsible for this. I'm also like that. I like to talk, too, considering I have Gemini rising, domicile Mercury in Virgo plus my venus both conjunct in the 3rd house. But I'm also very shy with guys that I like. I also feel awkward when my friends talk about relationships.

Not exactly. Venus squares each other. Look to Eros for love styles.

He has Eros at 0 deg Cancer and I have mine at 1 deg Gemini. I thought Eros was more of a sexual asteroid.
