When I think of Sagittarius it's not in connection to a specific religion, rather philosophical ideas and ideals and the act of gathering for a good cause. Fellowship.

I love how OP starts threads of own opinion, asking for others opinion, then argues with everyone who doesn't agree with said opinion.

I definitely see the Catholic virgo link, especially since Catholics be all about the virgin mary.

Just to add some that might not been mentioned

Aquarius definitely scientology, or athiesm lol.

Taurus and epicurianism

Sagittarius, Rastafarianism LOL

Capricorn and Confucianism, because of all the discipline and respect for elders/authority and social constructs.

Cancer and paganism, due to the connection with the moon, mother, goddess and all that.

Scorpio and satanism, not just because it is "dark" but because of the investigatory nature and search for true meaning etc

Gemini and agnosticism or unitarian universalism because indecisive and wants a little bit of all religions without committing to the practices of any of them fully.

PS. This is all just personal opinion here, I make no claims of being an expert on religions LOL

From what I understand Satanism is about leaving others to their own devices as long as they are not harming others and giving an eye for an eye. I'd say Satanism is more Aries, it's very self focused, but still protective of community and nature without being invasive as well as violent towards violent people who deserve it.

Organizations like Free Masons would be Aquarian.

"An eye for an eye" sounds Libra to me. You'll always hear the Libra say "i wouldn't have started it if you didn't start it first".

Islam would be Capricorn. I've read that the Ka'ba is aligned with Saturn.

I've read witches's covens and warlocks are under the influence of Aquarius, too.

I don't view witch to be evil by the way.

Witchcraft would follow the lunar cycle. That would be the moon...and lilith.

This is very true for myself and a Sag guy I'm friends with.
We both agree that religion is too much of a restricted belief system.
For me it's all about spirituality which is very different really. It's far more open minded.

"Religion" traditionally belongs to sign of Sagittarius
.. {long range Vision and Quest.. "higher" than self}.
Sagittarius is ruled by over-the-top exuberant JUPITER.
.. Jupiter aka The Teacher, Guru
Natural Sag House is the 9th
.. aka "God's House"
Within degrees of Sagittarius are points called
*The Great Attractor* and
*Galactic Center* aka 'The God Spot'

There are a wide variety of denominations represented under the "umbrella" of 'Christianity'.

Something else that comes under Sagittarius is Politics.

UNFORTUNATELY..
Identifying self with a belief system seems to 'automatically' judge or brand a person with identity that is FAR from the original meaning, ..and places self as belonging to certain cult-followings, or political brands. FAR from the truth.

Our worlds had gone through a "Jupiter Sag" square "Neptune Pisces" aspect.

To me.. labelled beliefs truths and philosophies have granulated, becoming corrupted. TOXIC now.

All that seems left, is my memories and the songs that uplifted me.

Meant more in the spirit of fun, though a little truth to it.

Libra can't decide between Christianity and Buddhism so goes with Atheism, unless that would disrupt the family harmony. Though if surrounded by neighbors who constantly thump Bibles at her she might become a Satanist just to balance things out.

Everyone else, including many Libras:
