No problem Well the one is Wales is at the University of Wales, so it's official and everything. Exactly! haha. Well unfortunately, the government and the education people don't think the same way! It's a big shame lol. IP: Logged |

Let's do it! We'll start a campaign to get things going! We need to get people signatures to say they agree . IP: Logged |

Yeah, amongst other things - It would be good to be around professional astrologers/astronomers to discuss things you come across, aswell as getting an official diploma in astrology, would be **** brilliant. IP: Logged |

Umm cool I had no idea that was offered as a degree anywhere lol.. I've looked into astronomy and physics programs but don't want to start completely over to get a B.S. This will probably be a stupid question but what are the job prospects though? IP: Logged |

In terms of job prospects, I have no idea sorry. With a degree, I guess you have a good chance of getting into becoming a professional astrologer or astronomer etc. But even degrees can't guarantee success! IP: Logged |

No worries, again this will probably sound stupid but I guess I'm just wondering what professional astrologers actually do... I mean what separates them from people with no formal education who still have a strong interest and charge money for readings.. And yeah, I've put a lot of time/money/effort into a liberal arts degree only to realize I should've gone with science. Honestly I'd love to be a professional astronomer but it's basically too late now.. Idk what I'm doing with my life at this point lol but that grad program seems like something I'd be into. I need to plan more carefully from now on though.. IP: Logged |

No no, it's fine you don't sound stupid. There's nothing wrong with asking 'dumb' questions. We all sometimes need clarification about certain things. Professional astrologers i guess do astrology as a job, as opposed to others who do it as a hobby/pastime. They also have a reputation for good quality of service and knowledge etc and can cover a lot of areas of astrology. Professional would come from reputation i guess. Carry on with the Liberal Arts, FireMoon! just complete the degree and then if you still feel like going into Science, go for it! That way you have Liberal Arts as a backup if you suddenly Science isn't your thing or you don't do well. Best of Luck. IP: Logged |

Thank you Sven
You're right about having lib arts as a backup. As a Cap sun conjunct Saturn eventually having a career that I really care about is important to me and it's a little frustrating right now but I'm sure things will work themselves out one way or another..
