What is the aspect? If the moon is angled too far the reflection is distorted. If it is conjunct the reflection is clear.

Maybe, try and find what is murky inside of you, murky thoughts, unclear thinking. maybe a trauma from the past with conflicting feelings involving an initial feeling of pleasure concerning some evil followed by a feeling of guilt leading to a mistrust of the femine (moon).

We all do this to some extent until we are ready to take responsibility for our own pain, we will blame it on others. Our pain taints our view on life and if someone reminds us of what we experienced that causes our pain, we feel they are enemy...they epitomize all we've been through and we want to get them to stop or we don't like them, they are the enemy sent to hurt us.
We see qualities in them that remind us of what is breaking us inside, so we blow up these qualities and the effect they are having on us.
We believe it's them creating what we feel and refuse to see that 99.9% of what we feel was already there and they came along with 0.01% and that's all it took to trigger us into believing they are the cause of our pain.

Once we remove our pain and many times the guilt we have picked up from acting out from pain, our eyes will stop projecting it out on others.
We can move this pain down from our eyes and our heads where we intellectualize it and blow it out of proportion and move it into our hearts.
Once it's in our hearts where we allow ourselves to feel it and deal with our entire outlook on life will change for the better.
Allowing it into our hearts and acknowledging the feelings, not intellectually, emotionally acknowledging it, is the key to releasing it.
Fell it like this, see it like this, think about it like this as you move the pain and fear into your heart and begin to acknowledge it....
Yes, it hurts...yes I feel it's hurt right now! Yes I'm going to allow myself to cry about this and let the hurts fill me up right now and I'm going to cry and cry and cry until I cant cry anymore!
Then when I'm done I'm going to think about it one last time. I'm going to think of everyone involved and quietly smile as I forgive each one of them individually and then I'm going to smile as I forgive myself and bless myself,
"i bless all that were involved because they were a part of my spiritual growth, thank you for all that was learned, I thank myself for all that i allowed my pain to teach me"

Stop and appreciate what happened in the grand scheme of things, "I'm so happy I learned those lessons....but I don't need that pain as a tool anymore! I finished that lesson, I'm ready to move on so I can throw out this tool now!"

Maybe doing some of this will bring on more crying...that's ok! Let it out, release all of it, just let it go!
Realize this will be the last time you will feel that pain and fear....so embrace and hold onto it so tight and squeezed all the emotions you can out of it, it's going to be gone soon so hug it so tight, don't let it get away without showing it how much you appreciate all it taught you! Then happily give it back to the universe so that someone else who needs it can use it and you then you accept your reward!
Feel the calm of the peace that is there, it is all that's left in the spot that held that pain, just peace! Feel it breathe it in and know this is the new feeling that belongs to you because you earned it!! It's your reward for effectively using the pain to grow!
If more pain n fear creeps up later, do the same...pain and fear will open up to you in layers, once one is released the next deeper layer will surface...keep doing the same thing with each layer that surfaces.
Dont give up, sometimes you will want to....it feels like it will never end(that's actually your pain trying to preserve itself and stay alive in you, we fear our pains death sometimes because it's all we've known for such a long time)

Tell yourself it's ok to never hurt like that again, giving ourselves the right to let it go and all it's fear is a huge part of neutralizing the pain.

Doing this process will allow us to open up to forgiveness....there is many ppl and things we need to forgive, ourselves, the situation, all involved in the situation and all who knew and didn't stop it or failed to protect us in the situation and forgive all who watched. Bless them all because they did exactly what needed to be done to get you to the place you are today, their actions or lack of actions propelled your forward in your spiritual development, you guys worked together and the outcome is you became a better person! Thank them, thank yourself and appreciate them and yourself for allowing all of it to happen!

Once we do this we will be able to see others without our pain blocking or tainting our view of them.
Neptune is allowing you to see YOUR emotions through their moon....it's a reflection of you that your seeing. The illusion is that you think it's them your seeing, not you.

Clear the emotions that create the negative illusions and you will see them, but through your highest love instead of your fear and pain of what you believe they are bringing to you, it's all in you...you decide what is reflected in mirror Neptune's holding up in front of you.

The aspects that touch these places do make all the difference!
Can you imagine how different a woman's Neptune conjunct a mans Moon would be if the man had Nessus conjunct his Moon

Ami, your so sweet! I really do love doing astrology and yes, it feels so natural!

I'm glad your focusing on looking at you and your moms synastry, sometimes intellectualizing the pain makes it easier to see it and pick it apart separating it from you, then see it for what it is...something that doesn't really belong to you, it was put there by another and you can choose to throw it out if it's not serving you well!

Your doing a great job, keep it up and don't rush it....healing will happen in it's own time, just trust your doing the right thing...no matter what!
