Has anyone experienced a sub-Saturn double whammy in synastry? How did you find it? Binding? Restrictive? What were the aspects?

I'm not sure really what a "double whammy" is.

But my x and I had sun square saturn & sun inconj saturn. We were together 15 years and I always felt at ease with him. From the first say 4 days of knowing each other we knew we'd be together a long time. It was an easy relationship to be in. It still is. It's just a different relationship. He's my best friend.

Honestly I haven't totally investigated our synastry. I just look at it when aspects are mentioned to see if we have it and to learn more about astrology.

My saturn squares my boyfriend's sun and his saturn trines my sun, so it's a double whammy yes.

And actually to be completely honest I feel there is some kind of wall between us, that prevents me from being myself around him.
I think there is also some kind of restrictive energy, and cold energy after some time.

yes, that's a double whammy That's very interesting that you found it to be an easy relationship, as I've had Saturn sq Sun in synastry, but I found it very difficult! I bet the two of you had some nice Jupiter and Venus aspects to balance things out.

Have you been together for a long time? Are you very critical of him/find him immature, or vice-versa? Did it take a while to get your relationship "off the ground" or no?

Only for about 6 months, and we are not exactly in a confirmed relationship, but something similar to that I guess.. I guess I find him very immature yes, maybe even a bit too much to ever get the relationship official…

I thought a double whammy might be the same aspect in both like sun square saturn + sun square saturn.

I don't know either! lol. I never thought I'd be in a relationship that long. We just understood each other.

Together we have saturn conj saturn but it's at 8deg52 so a bit wide(?). The ones i mention in my other post are under 2deg. I don't know how to bring down the orb in astro.com

Separately in natal we each have Saturn in the 7th/Taurus.

Jupiter & Venus together or in general?
Jupiter & Venus together we only have his J semi-square my venus.
