Stellium squares Jupiter in Virgo. So there is an interaction. I have inheritly no self confidence. I just cultivate confidence based on qualities people tell me I have. This world you need to appear self assured. Apparently I'm funny huh really? Sure. The funny thing is I'll forget I have these qualities until I am reminded or need to hone them.
My Virgo friends also has this confidence.... When she's drunk she'll walk around saying I'm hot huh lol yess.
Virgo energy is not needy for compliments because they hyper analyze.
I remember I compliment her eye makeup and she looked at me and was like my I always do my eyes like this. We it was the first month we met and I never had the chance to comment . The funny thing is I would say the same thing.IP: Logged |

I find it weird that people find me attractive but why you can't see all the things that need to be fixed ? I'm not even that critical on others because I don't have the same expectations. I guess it's sad but at least I don't think I'm above others which is noble I suppose.IP: Logged |

Haha I totally get you, I have a Virgo moon - opposite venus ans asc, trine neptune.
I have the same thing, people will compliment me and it's like ummmm can't you see my smile is super unsymmetrical and my hair is thinning...I feel the same way when people point out my mistakes, it's like: you don't think I know and am ashamed times a million about it?! I can beat myself way more than anything you can throw at me so don't even try.I totally get the eye shadow thing too, it's like why should they be complimented on something that they've always done, that's not worthy of a compliment because they haven't worked at accomplishing it. My friend actually told me the other day that i should stop analyzing guys the same way i do an art piece...damn that virgo mind. IP: Logged |

I've actually gotten decently good at taking compliments over time, though I naturally end up minimizing them. I think my initial reaction is always a mixture of surprise and confusion, but then I will give a genuine thank you and either minimize my accomplishment or make a self deprecating joke to take the focus off of me. On occasion I'll give a very genuine compliment in return. I think it's natural for Virgo types to minimize their own accomplishments because the compliment is about something they have already trained themselves to do on a regular basis or they are so busy looking at ALL of the little details they aren't getting right that they kind of miss the point of a compliment. lol. I have similar problems with Sagittarius Mars. It doesn't agree with much in my chart and sorta just lingers there. I empathize! IP: Logged |
