Placements or aspects for nuns/monks? Capricorn 23-24 comes to mind - A woman entering a convent. But I have it and clearly I am not one. If you know their charts, please post them (anonymously ofc). Thanks! ------------------ ~the raving one dancing in the nude~ IP: Logged |

Bump I'm curious about this too. If I lived in 15 century I would work toward being a a corrupt pope. I am Roman after all. A lot of popes have air luminaries weird. I suppose I would make a strong vigor of god with Aries mars. Father of kings.IP: Logged |

Here are some nuns listed (with birthdays): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:American_nuns I'd be curious about those who entered a convent only to leave later (granted, reasons for leaving are as varied as for entering), especially if there was a transit involved. Here are some former nuns: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_former_Roman_Catholic_nuns And then there are those who retreat from the world for similar reasons, such as wanting a "womyn's lands" or hippie retreat, and scratching away the surface paint jobs and they look very similar, at least some do (many are even Christian though they're typically not interested in working with other churches). Here are a few, maybe you can find a birthday somewhere: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_intentional_communities IP: Logged |

People of my father's family are very religious. There are some who choose to become catholic priests n nuns but I don't know all of their birth times. Well I know a few, but most of them passed away a long time ago so I'm not sure about the accuracy of those birth times. They have various reasons, but this aunt's reason is quite interesting. I heard from my father that she did so to "redeem her family". Her chart - accurate tob (as far as I know)

wowow. that chart is so beautiful *__* almost both a complete grand sextile and a grand cross together some interesting things, other than neptune in 12th and pisces, I notice a tight moon south node conjunction. I was reading about these recently and that the people who have them are not exactly very concerned with mothering and motherly things because it is a concept they have already mastered in a past life, they may almost have an aversion to being a mother, so it is interesting to note as nuns are often celibate with no biological children. 8H ruler in 6th is a prostitution material, ha. But notice how Saturn is aspecting everything except the sun and the angles. Neptune in 12H is extremely spiritual. The saturn/mars/pluto conjunction in 10H may contribute, wow lucky, that's a huge deal of self control and dedication out there.IP: Logged |

I noticed 12H ruler Rx and placed in the 4th, afflicted. No wonder she thought she was redeeming the family! ------------------ ~the raving one dancing in the nude~ IP: Logged |

She has the Seal of Solomon (or Star of David) chart. That's a powerful chart. I actually think Jesus would have a chart like this.Air Grand Trine (Neptune, Uranus, Mercury) Fire Grand Trine (Jupiter, Venus, Mars-Saturn-Pluto) Like wow. IP: Logged |

She's missing one sextile (well, two) for a Star of David but it doesn't matter anyways. It's mind blowing. She could've been anything she wanted.. help progress society instead of hiding in a convent. But oh well, her choice. ------------------ ~the raving one dancing in the nude~ IP: Logged |

She practiced as a doctor and a teacher for some years in remote places (doctors, teachers n nurses don't want to work there) so along with other priests n nuns she was a great help for those people. Started out with just about 3, 4 people but later they grew bigger. She also worked with minority groups and was involved in the proposal to the government to start an education award for minority students. Contributed to researches/books about the life, cultures and struggles of minor groups. IP: Logged |

Ohhh GOOOD! I would hate to see such enormous talent and empathy go to waste. I feel that going to a monastery and seclude yourself there is an awfully selfish thing to do. IP: Logged |

Some people chose to become monks n nuns after experiencing traumatic events. From what I know, these are the ones who often want to be "away from the world". There are other things nuns, priests and monks do apart from religious duties. My aunt is one of many who are trying to make things better. In my country, there are many charitable organisations which are run by monks, priests...etc... Especially orphanages and caring homes for disabled children. I find it interesting that she is earth void (does taurus NN count?) - doesn't need material security and comfort. She had the choice of a luxurious lifestyle but didn't choose it.

Haha. it means she's not working towards her NN. Taurus NN would be accumulating material wealth i think. Or maybe she just spends it on others.IP: Logged |

Her NN would also be at the opposite of her Moon, apex of Mercury-Mars/Saturn/Pluto t-square. It forms a grand fixed cross. Is she a Buddhist? IP: Logged |

I wouldn't know about that, but what I do know is that, once you reincarnate, you get your Venus in the 12th house, and your love life sucks. IP: Logged |

With the Taurus NN in the 7th maybe that is the case. Applying material wealth or material help towards other people rather than herself. IP: Logged |
