Someone said to me tonight, "Every time I see you, I just want to give you a hug and tell you that everything is going to be okay." And that's not the first time I've heard something like that.

Numerous friends have told me, "I feel like I'm your mother/father and you're my child." People, who are both younger and older than me, have felt as though they should take care of me.

I'm 25 years old. I don't feel like I'm immature, but perhaps I come off as virginal because I don't have a lot of life experiences under my belt yet.

Are there any aspects or asteroids that would make people feel like they should nurture a particular person? I'd love to hear your ideas!

NN Pisces can come off as dreamers, and may be insecure until they're about 30. Cancer Chiron could exacerbate that insecurity. Mixed with Sag ASC projecting such qualities forward then it might inspire people to think the way they do about you.

I'm not sure, I haven't run into it before, at least not to where people were saying that about someone (unless it was out of resentment). I have thought of technical adults as childlike who needed to be looked after (while encouraged to grow up) but I never said so as that would be considered insulting by a lot of people, and furthermore, most people tend to only feel protective of their own children while finding most others annoying (maybe it's different in Canada). More commonly I've known people I've felt protective of but not because they were childlike but rather it was other qualities about them. Heck, I felt protective of one guy much older than me (who I simultaneously accepted as a teacher) given his intense empathic sensitivity to the world that took a lot of effort for him not to drown in the pain of it.

Though just so you know, those who are immature rarely know it...and they're much more likely to say how mature they are than those who actually are (especially if it's to say one is better than someone else, particularly in an argument). But it's a very fuzzy line, one rife with ironies (and also exceptions so one who is usually immature will occasionally show surprising maturity and vice versa).

Checking out your chart now I think it may be a moon in 11th house thing, ie nurturing in the form of friends and group associations, with jupiter opposite your moon as well I think this may possibly result as a form of projecting to others a need for mothering

Your chart ruler, Jupiter, closely opposes the Moon, which would give a you lunar appearance and demeanor. So earnestness of expression, naiveté, innocence would be present, making people want to nurture you.

All interesting! I am rather sensitive.

I guess it is indeed the Jupiter/Moon aspect that causes people to feel this way about me.

I remembered this thread because someone commented on my eyes last night. The guy said that an acting teacher in college talked about how a particular student's eyes made people sympathize for that student, and the guy has never encountered another person, except for me, who has the same kind of eyes.

If I'm not mistaken, the Moon is usually linked to our eyes, and I feel like that just adds truth to the Jupiter/Moon explanation.

Have you checked your progressed chart? You have too much earth to come across dazed and confused.

The only thing I can discern is the MC in Libra, but this is hardly enough to make people want to cuddle you. Be very nice to you ,yes, but cuddle? No.
